What do you like best?

I was EXTREMELY skeptical when I had discovered during pre-sales that Chat was THE mechanism for obtaining support. I'd always preferred to be able to get someone on the phone. But every single time I use their chat, I get a live EXPERT responding within 1 minute or much quicker. I'm never "redirected to open a support ticket", or anything remotely like that. Instead, I am getting answers-- highly relevant and technically sound answers-- immediately. The rep at the other end has all the resources to look up any situation and often correct it on my behalf during the Chat. Their Chat window makes easy to paste screen grabs, add attachments, rejoin yesterday's chat without skipping a beat or having to re-explain anything, even if there has been a personnel shift change on their end. These guys have figured out support!

A close second best is the competence. If the agent you're talking to needs to confer with an associate, you'll never know it. They handle all that in the background, and all I ever see is a prompt, well-researched, and technically sound answer right during the live chat session. They're also not afraid to tell you they aren't sure about something and will ask some probing questions to be sure they "get" your issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Honesty. I don't yet have any complaints, as the actual service has been nothing but sound. Way faster than my previous host. Way better CDN. No CDN/Caching conflicts I used to have with previous host. Great communications on upcoming system changes, prompt alerts of known emerging WP vulnerabilities and how to patch, etc. I've never had any uptime issues or anything other than solid hosting performance. What do you like best?

Kinsta makes it easy to create WordPress websites with just few clicks and gives you the control you need to manage your WordPress sites. What I like about Kinsta is how fast their WordPress sites are, very responsive customer support that will get whatever you need done within few minutes only. Other things are security and reporting tools that will give you a peace of mind and also tell you exactly where the problem is within your site. Other great features that we tested are the CDN, ability to choose the server location, and new relic reporting tool that really helped us detect the issues in our sites. Our load speed increased dramatically and we no longer need to request more resources. Bruteforce and security is pretty awesome as well which helped us get rid of security plugin. Kinsta offers an unbelievable support system that responds to you 24/7/365 in a few seconds!

The incredibly friendly attitude of the team makes you feel they want your problem solved & not the usual; you are the problem response you get from support teams!!

What do you like best?

First of all, Kinsta's customer service is absolutely fantastic. Fast (really fast), expert, supremely helpful, and above all human. Not just in the sense of clearly having real people on the other end of the line, but the way the representatives treat you with kindness and humanity. Other providers I've used in the past have made me dread needing to contact customer service. I can say with complete honesty that everything they got wrong in dealing with customers, Kinsta gets right.

Of course, good customer service doesn't mean much if the product is lacking, but the product is great as well. The hosting is fast and reliable, and the user interface is the most intuitive, easy-to-navigate system I've used. I love having a staging environment at my disposal, too. I'm not the most technical person, and can't do a very good job of explaining why the hosting is good beyond that, but it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I can't really think of anything in particular. I know that when I first signed up, I was worried a bit about the cost, coming from very cheap, budget-oriented hosting, but those concerns were quickly allayed. Totally worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I originally switched because of ongoing problems with my previous host involving downtime, slow servers, bad customer and technical support, and recurring technical problems that they tended to (unfairly) blame on the customer. There were also frustrating technical limitations that were just irritating.

What do you like best?

It's their fast response to your questions. There is nothing worse than waiting around for help on a chatbot system. 9 times out of 10 you get to an actual human being in under 1 minute.

Their advice and support is always the best, they even take the load off of you and do tasks without you even asking. Yes, it may only be clearing the cache of a site, but its a task they are willing to do to go that extra mile! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Great performance and features with all plans including but not limited to Redis cahce, CDN, APM via NewRelic, automatic backups.

Staging Environments - The ability to preview/stage changes and updates to your site and easily be able to promote/push those changes to production is also very nice.

Migration services - I also like that they provide free migration services with most plans which were very helpful for preparing to transition from our previous hosting provider.

Customer Service - Their customer service was excellent and very responsive. We had issues with a legacy site that was developed by a 3rd party vendor with a very 'non-standard' structure/setup and they were able to get the site migrated and up and running very quickly. What do you dislike?

So far we haven't found any issues with their services. We're starting to look into how to best integrate our DevOps process with Kinsta hosting and promoting code/content through lower environments through production. Fast and reliable web hosting with responsive customer support. What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

First, I was sold a song and dance. I mentioned that the most important thing to me was fast service. I found this not to be true with Kinsta. It typically takes between 4-6 minutes for a first response from support, and then after that it often is minutes between each response. Granted, there's a lot to work out when you first switch hosts, but the rep promised faster responses than with Liquid Web. The opposite was true. Though they are more knowledgeable about my issues. I had WPX before, which NOBODY can beat as far as customer services goes. But WPX only offers shared hosting and we needed our own server.

In addition, the rep told me that they use enterprise cloudlfare and if I needed a rule put in place for it to just let support know. Support informed me that they're not able to do this. Also, they don't utilize all the things from enterprise. Basically they just use the security and the CDN.

I have been frustrated with my customer service experience so far from Kinsta, however, my site is faster and has fewer outages than on my liquidweb and WPX servers. I just wish I was told the truth before I signed up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest reason for transferring was to have hosting with a provider who knows Wordpress and responds quickly. I needed the 504 error fixed from my old host as well. The additional workers and wordpress configuration has fixed the error. The server isn't necessarily faster, however, with the additional workers, I don't get down time when trying to edit the site or when we have an influx of visitors. What do you like best?

IWhat we like the most is the high & broad quality of skills from the support team. Never saw it on any other support team, 50% are 10/10, 40% 8-9/10, and the bottom 10% is maybe a 7/10, which is clearly extraordinary overall. I blame many top tech names support team, with a score around 0-4 out of 10 (and companies use to pay them 100x much more, the fact that the underlying tech is more complex than a CMS does not impede them to invest in top quality support staff which they rarely do properly). Here the support team, in general, is clearly a deserved 5* rating. Wherever you are, anytime, there would always be someone of quality. And with time passing, you know which support staff is the best to contact for specific issues (you can re-contact them in the history log). You get great answers as far as they can, and in the worst case, they transmit the question to their internal team and otherwise raise a ticket so that they come back to you later with a better answer. You also get great articles on their blog, which is outstanding, superior to many company FAQs or blogs with tons of elements. We use them to host many websites or proof of concepts for investors.

They have great support to startup any idea and make it into life in a matter of minutes. They have a full spectrum of support from DNS, redirections, staging, CDN, reverse proxy, server hosting location, SSL, security plugin checkup, ssh, caching, and adding new ones on top every quarter (Kinsta's Cloudflare integration lately). What else for a quick CMS setup? It's a dream and a game-changer. I can launch entire website concepts in 2 days, migrate, develop on staging, delete, migrate, erase, change strings of a database with ease without a crash, investigate logs, get many backups. "What else?" It is in the top 0.1% client support team in the world. I wish other big names would learn from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Two points:

- Kinsta APM was unstable 6 months ago, not sure if I would reuse that feature, probable conflicts with the themes or plugins you may be using (this is from our own experience).

- As a Cloudflare private client, I know what Cloudflare offers and what you get at Kinsta. The agreement they have is superb (no price was increased) but I wish to be able to have a dashboard on the rules that I had to setup with the support team. We need to keep track of our request to the team which is a bit obfuscated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you develop POCs with WordPress in a matter of days or look for a complete website with long-term stability, Kinsta is very handy but of course you need to learn yourself via their blog (there may be few hundred of pages to digest) but then you get great knowledge of what wordpress can offer, risks and limits (compared to other ways to setup a website). You cannot rely on their suppor team for any issues you get and ask just simple questions (they would redirect you to their blog anyway so at the end, you will surely read their articles before!). They always be very positive in the attitude and if you are cool, the bond will be great with them and you will see that the return you get is worth the price. Problems we solved recently were: GDPR related topics, Cloudflare firewall rules, PHP limit setups, DNS, CDN, Access-Control-Allow-Methods, upload extension filtering, migration.

Generally, we were able to solve a problem in a matter of minutes, otherwise to change our methods or adjust plugins, after investigating the root cause of issues we were facing. Most cases are straightforward but few cases can be more complex than usual (you won't find an easy solution on StackOverflow or similar forums) and required few hours. Kinsta hosting for WordPress and WooCommerce is some of the best hosting I have ever used. The support is second to none and the knowledge of each support team member is excellent. What do you like best?

Superior if not the best Wordpress service available. They are certainly more expensive than many other options but you truly get what you pay for and more. If you run Wordpress sites, I beleive there is no better option if you want the best possible site.

The dashboard / user interface is extremely user friendly and easy to navigate while being loaded with all the tools I need to run my sites.

Also the impeccible customer service. I don't think I ever had to wait more than 3 minutes for a live rep to assist me through the chat on their website. The reps are patient, knowledgable and friendly.

Most of all, my sites run ultra fast, "out of the box"... far faster than my previous hosts. It's secure and has auto backup measures for stress free operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

What do you like best?

There is so much to like. First off, the migration process is very smooth. I used a managed migration for a client recently and had excellent communications with the staff of Kinsta, who saw me through all issues in a timely and professional manner. I also very much like the clean UI that enables me to clear the cache, set up HTTPS, enjoy daily backups, and more. The messaging functionality is excellent, so customer service is always just a click away, and the staff is super responsive. I have tried MediaTemple, Pantheon, and other hosts, and am happy to have found with Kinsta a long-term home for myself and my clients. Finally, the pricing is extremely fair and competitive, with plans for every level of individual, business, enterprise needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been able to solve the issues I encountered at Pantheon, due to their dashboard downtime, the convoluted process of updating WordPress and plugins, and the need to edit wp-config.php to account for plugins that require write access to the uploads directory. Kinsta provides a cleaner Live and Dev setup. If I do deep development, I can always set up a Dev server, then push to Live. Normally though, I can edit the live site directly, with immediate results. Also, Kinsta's blog is an excellent resource for learning more about best practices in WordPress design and development. What do you like best?

I was hesitant to move four websites for my top client to a new hosting provider, especially since there was no telephone support, only chat or email. But the chat support has been excellent. Support technicians have been courteous and detail-oriented and have helped me with the migration process. They send warnings for PHP upgrades and make it super easy, even for non-techies like myself.

What do you like best?

After hosting on shared servers before due to costs, we gave Kinsta a try for two e-commerce websites. The onboarding was quick, straightforward, and the most crucial thing - support was there when we needed them to help us along the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is not much to dislike. Pricing comes to mind, but when you compare the performance vs. shared hosting, there is a reason for the prices. One thing that also comes to mind is the lack of email server. There is however a simple way to connect GSuite, so you can use this service instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are hosting two e-commerce websites. The most significant factor was speed, as this is a real issue with shared hosting. With Kinsta, there was a big improvement. What do you like best?

Their speed is top-notch, and the support is great. I have a website that goes above the average WordPress website. I have custom plugins, custom page URLs, and custom interworking that make my site unique. The Kinsta team has worked hard to make sure my website is live all the time, which allows me to do development without the hassle of server work. I just dealt with the team about setting up custom server rules to integrate cached geolocation into my website so every time a client goes to my website, it makes them a custom experience tailored to their location. Their team created custom rules to my configuration to do a full integration so my site is lightning fast. As a business owner/programmer, I don't know what I'd do without them. I tried doing self-managed hosting for a while, but Kinsta has made it easy to do what I do best. Worth every penny. Thanks for the support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I don't have any dislikes. Any time I have a problem, I contact their 24 hour support and I have a dedicated support agent that fixes it in 10-20 minutes. It's really nice having support like when I need caching disabled so my developers could fix a problem through live-editing. What do you like best?

Kinsta has hit the perfect pitch for us, as previously our websites had either been on cheap, slow and frustrating hosting, or were costing more than their revenues justified on the likes of AWS or WPEngine. Not only was the price/speed of Kinsta ideal, but the ease-of-use of the service has been a revelation. Support has been great, and everything has just worked, which is important when you don't have a dedicated IT function at a small company. What do you dislike?

I've yet to find a major problem. Had a couple of issues with a migration but support ironed those out swiftly, so what felt like a potential negative ended up being a positive experience - especially when compared to previous experiences elsewhere! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

There are many upsides to using Kinsta hosting. Everything is easily accessible and understandable via the Kinsta dashboard. Customer service via dashboard chat is quick to respond, clear, kind, and even fun! Every tool you need is in reach with a fantastic UI. Our website speed is super fast, far superior to our previous web hosting service. Lastly, security is solid. It just feels reassuring to keep our website under the care of Kinsta. What do you like best?

Kinsta offers very powerful features for their hosting clients. Such as CDN, caching, a staging environment, rock-solid backups, integration with Cloudflare, and really fast TTFB metrics. Kinsta is the best managed WordPress host in history! The performance of their revolutionary uses a mix of Nginx, PHP 7, LXD software containers, and MariaDB to make your WordPress website performance super fast. In terms of features, Kinsta offers daily backups and easy integration with KeyCDN among many others. Their support is unmatched - they have alerted me to issues with my website before I even knew about them. What do you like best?

Without a doubt, the CDN was the factor to switch for us. It was only after that we realized how little maintenance was needed to keep the site running at peak performance.

The ability to use a staging environment is very helpful.

Migration of our sites was fast and efficient. Yes, there were a few pages where custom css had to be migrated separately but this is normal and should be expected no matter what platform you use. The great part of it was in how versatile the Kinsta platform was to both recognize and migrate with accuracy 99.9% of our sites overall with only a modicum of adjustments. Performance was the key here. The CDN was a game-changer for us. The ability to run in an isolated environment to perform updates and changes that we can see running in a staged environment before pushing to production servers is a tremendous benefit. We no longer need to copy a site to another server, update it then bring it back to the production server each time. The staged environment allows this to be done smoothly and efficiently. Homemade backoffice user friendly and quick to load. It's a boom!

There are many website hosting providers out there that provide the same services, but Kinsta goes one step further and provides the most amazing Customer Support! Each agent is knowledgable and will walk you through every step needed to help with your support issue. Their online knowledge base is filled with step by step answers to many common issues. At the moment absolutely nothing...well maybe I have to wait more than 1 minute for a Customer Support agent, but rarely anything longer. When you need to contact someone at Customer Support it is usually an important issue so having to wait 1 minute can seem like an eternity but in reality they are really quick at getting back to you with helpful answers and links to step by step knowlege base documents.
