I was EXTREMELY skeptical when I had discovered during pre-sales that Chat was THE mechanism for obtaining support. I'd always preferred to be able to get someone on the phone. But every single time I use their chat, I get a live EXPERT responding within 1 minute or much quicker. I'm never "redirected to open a support ticket", or anything remotely like that. Instead, I am getting answers-- highly relevant and technically sound answers-- immediately. The rep at the other end has all the resources to look up any situation and often correct it on my behalf during the Chat. Their Chat window makes easy to paste screen grabs, add attachments, rejoin yesterday's chat without skipping a beat or having to re-explain anything, even if there has been a personnel shift change on their end. These guys have figured out support!
A close second best is the competence. If the agent you're talking to needs to confer with an associate, you'll never know it. They handle all that in the background, and all I ever see is a prompt, well-researched, and technically sound answer right during the live chat session. Honesty. I don't yet have any complaints, as the actual service has been nothing but sound. Way faster than my previous host. Way better CDN. No CDN/Caching conflicts I used to have with previous host. Great communications on upcoming system changes, prompt alerts of known emerging WP vulnerabilities and how to patch, etc. I've never had any uptime issues or anything other than solid hosting performance. Kinsta makes it easy to create WordPress websites with just few clicks and gives you the control you need to manage your WordPress sites. What I like about Kinsta is how fast their WordPress sites are, very responsive customer support that will get whatever you need done within few minutes only. Other things are security and reporting tools that will give you a peace of mind and also tell you exactly where the problem is within your site. Other great features that we tested are the CDN, ability to choose the server location, and new relic reporting tool that really helped us detect the issues in our sites. First of all, Kinsta's customer service is absolutely fantastic. Fast (really fast), expert, supremely helpful, and above all human. Not just in the sense of clearly having real people on the other end of the line, but the way the representatives treat you with kindness and humanity. Other providers I've used in the past have made me dread needing to contact customer service. I can say with complete honesty that everything they got wrong in dealing with customers, Kinsta gets right.
Of course, good customer service doesn't mean much if the product is lacking, but the product is great as well. The hosting is fast and reliable, and the user interface is the most intuitive, easy-to-navigate system I've used. I love having a staging environment at my disposal, too. It's their fast response to your questions. There is nothing worse than waiting around for help on a chatbot system. 9 times out of 10 you get to an actual human being in under 1 minute.

Great performance and features with all plans including but not limited to Redis cahce, CDN, APM via NewRelic, automatic backups.
Staging Environments - The ability to preview/stage changes and updates to your site and easily be able to promote/push those changes to production is also very nice.
Migration services - I also like that they provide free migration services with most plans which were very helpful for preparing to transition from our previous hosting provider.
Customer Service - Their customer service was excellent and very responsive. We had issues with a legacy site that was developed by a 3rd party vendor with a very 'non-standard' structure/setup and they were able to get the site migrated and up and running very quickly. So far we haven't found any issues with their services. We're starting to look into how to best integrate our DevOps process with Kinsta hosting and promoting code/content through lower environments through production. First, I was sold a song and dance. I mentioned that the most important thing to me was fast service. I found this not to be true with Kinsta. It typically takes between 4-6 minutes for a first response from support, and then after that it often is minutes between each response. Granted, there's a lot to work out when you first switch hosts, but the rep promised faster responses than with Liquid Web. The opposite was true. Though they are more knowledgeable about my issues. I had WPX before, which NOBODY can beat as far as customer services goes. But WPX only offers shared hosting and we needed our own server.
In addition, the rep told me that they use enterprise cloudlfare and if I needed a rule put in place for it to just let support know. Support informed me that they're not able to do this. Also, they don't utilize all the things from enterprise. Basically they just use the security and the CDN.
I have been frustrated with my customer service experience so far from Kinsta, however, my site is faster and has fewer outages than on my liquidweb and WPX servers. I just wish I was told the truth before I signed up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have no complaints about the service because everything works perfectly, they fulfill what was promised, but the cost is high compared to other hosting services, but I understand the great professional support and it helps to solve my web problems and applications within the hosting. IWhat we like the most is the high & broad quality of skills from the support team. Never saw it on any other support team, 50% are 10/10, 40% 8-9/10, and the bottom 10% is maybe a 7/10, which is clearly extraordinary overall. I blame many top tech names support team, with a score around 0-4 out of 10 (and companies use to pay them 100x much more, the fact that the underlying tech is more complex than a CMS does not impede them to invest in top quality support staff which they rarely do properly). Here the support team, in general, is clearly a deserved 5* rating. Wherever you are, anytime, there would always be someone of quality. And with time passing, you know which support staff is the best to contact for specific issues (you can re-contact them in the history log). You get great answers as far as they can, and in the worst case, they transmit the question to their internal team and otherwise raise a ticket so that they come back to you later with a better answer. You also get great articles on their blog, which is outstanding, superior to many company FAQs or blogs with tons of elements. We use them to host many websites or proof of concepts for investors.
They have great support to startup any idea and make it into life in a matter of minutes. They have a full spectrum of support from DNS, redirections, staging, CDN, reverse proxy, server hosting location, SSL, security plugin checkup, ssh, caching, and adding new ones on top every quarter (Kinsta's Cloudflare integration lately). What else for a quick CMS setup? It's a dream and a game-changer. I can launch entire website concepts in 2 days, migrate, develop on staging, delete, migrate, erase, change strings of a database with ease without a crash, investigate logs, get many backups. Two points:
- Kinsta APM was unstable 6 months ago, not sure if I would reuse that feature, probable conflicts with the themes or plugins you may be using (this is from our own experience).
- As a Cloudflare private client, I know what Cloudflare offers and what you get at Kinsta. The agreement they have is superb (no price was increased) but I wish to be able to have a dashboard on the rules that I had to setup with the support team. There is so much to like. First off, the migration process is very smooth. I used a managed migration for a client recently and had excellent communications with the staff of Kinsta, who saw me through all issues in a timely and professional manner. I also very much like the clean UI that enables me to clear the cache, set up HTTPS, enjoy daily backups, and more. The messaging functionality is excellent, so customer service is always just a click away, and the staff is super responsive. I have tried MediaTemple, Pantheon, and other hosts, and am happy to have found with Kinsta a long-term home for myself and my clients. I was hesitant to move four websites for my top client to a new hosting provider, especially since there was no telephone support, only chat or email. But the chat support has been excellent. Support technicians have been courteous and detail-oriented and have helped me with the migration process. They send warnings for PHP upgrades and make it super easy, even for non-techies like myself.

There is not much to dislike. Pricing comes to mind, but when you compare the performance vs. shared hosting, there is a reason for the prices. Their speed is top-notch, and the support is great. I have a website that goes above the average WordPress website. I have custom plugins, custom page URLs, and custom interworking that make my site unique. The Kinsta team has worked hard to make sure my website is live all the time, which allows me to do development without the hassle of server work. I just dealt with the team about setting up custom server rules to integrate cached geolocation into my website so every time a client goes to my website, it makes them a custom experience tailored to their location. Their team created custom rules to my configuration to do a full integration so my site is lightning fast. As a business owner/programmer, I don't know what I'd do without them. I don't have any dislikes. Any time I have a problem, I contact their 24 hour support and I have a dedicated support agent that fixes it in 10-20 minutes. It's really nice having support like when I need caching disabled so my developers could fix a problem through live-editing. Kinsta has hit the perfect pitch for us, as previously our websites had either been on cheap, slow and frustrating hosting, or were costing more than their revenues justified on the likes of AWS or WPEngine. Not only was the price/speed of Kinsta ideal, but the ease-of-use of the service has been a revelation. Support has been great, and everything has just worked, which is important when you don't have a dedicated IT function at a small company. Without a doubt, the CDN was the factor to switch for us. It was only after that we realized how little maintenance was needed to keep the site running at peak performance.

Migration of our sites was fast and efficient. Yes, there were a few pages where custom css had to be migrated separately but this is normal and should be expected no matter what platform you use.
