Mr. Ruben Alblas is Program Manager for KLM and has been with the airline in various roles since 1997. He holds a degree in Logistics and Economy from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.

Valentín Alfaya Director of Prevention, Quality and Environment at Grupo Ferrovial and Chairman of the Spanish Group for Green Growth He has a PhD in Biological Sciences from UCM and a Diploma in Engineering and Environmental Management from EOI.

Giovanni Anceschi, energy engineer, is president of ART-ER and COO of Energy Way, a Modena-based company that deals with data science and data management that in 2016 participated in the Climate-KIC Accelerator Program in Italy and today is one of the most successful companies futuristic operating in the development of innovative mathematical models at the service of business efficiency and sustainability.

Patrick Buergi is an entrepreneur and expert in climate change mitigation. He has over 13 years of experience in carbon markets and climate policy. Patrick is a co-founder of both the myclimate Foundation in 2002 and South Pole Carbon in 2006 (now South Pole Group), two leading organisations in global carbon markets.

Today, Patrick is heading South Pole Group’s offering for the public sector.

Jonas Kamleh is Deputy Head of the Urban Development and Climate Environmental Department at the City of Malmö (Sweden). Previously he was Senior Advisor at the United Nations Development Programme.

Suzanne Reynders has a background in science and management and is currently Senior Advisor for Public Private Partnership at the Scientific Directorate for Environment at INRA, the French National Institute for Agricultural Research. Suzanne coordinates INRA’s participation in Climate-KIC.

Ada Ámon is Chief Advisor to the Mayor of Budapest on Climate Affairs at Budapest City Hall and head of the city’s newly established climate department. She is committed to improving the lives of Budapest’s residents through urban building renovation and integrating large-scale renewable technology. She is one of 3 women recognised in the Women in Energy category of the EU Sustainable Energy Awards 2020.

Johan Rockström is an internationally recognized scientist on global sustainability issues. He led the development of the Planetary Boundaries framework for human development in the current era of rapid global change. He is a leading scientist on global water resources, with 25+ years experience in applied water research in tropical regions, and 150+ research publications.

Anders is Chairman of the Swedish Association of Recycling Industries and Chairman of the Governing Board of EIT Climate-KIC. Anders has served as a Member of the European Parliament and the Swedish Parliament, as Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Policy Director of UNDP. Anders is honorary doctor at Linköping University (2011).

Barna Baráth spent the last four years as a strategist, board member and parent of Green School Bali, a unique community of changemakers, educating for a sustainable world. Prior to this he was CEO for 12 years of one of Europe’s top climate change finance firms, Vertis Environmental Finance, winning numerous awards for innovation and client service. Barna graduated in Economics from the University of California and studied corporate finance at London Business School.

Isabel García Mora is Finance Group VP, Global Head of Crisis Management, Recovery and Resolution at Banco Santander. She has 30 years’ experience in banking; prior to her current position, Isabel has been Head of International Supervisory Relations, Head of Public Sector and Head of Investor Relations, Analyst and Rating Agencies for Santander Group, and Deputy Director for Strategic Planning at Banco Central Hispano.
