WooCommerce 2.7 de_DE and de_CH

Hi there, I’m GTEGeneral Translation Editor A General Translation Editor (often referred to as GTE) is a person, who has global access to validate strings on all projects for a specific locale. for de_CH coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. and WooCommerce. Wanted to start a discussion with my de_DE WooCommerce colleagues to coordinate translations for WooCommerce 2.7 release which we’re getting close to.

Not sure how this was done for 2.6, but right now the development trunk is at 76% (1121 untranslated stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. seems to be too many), the latest stable release at 99%, but I guess the new 2.7 strings are not yet available in the latest stable release?

Trying to pingPing The act of sending a very small amount of data to an end point. Ping is used in computer science to illicit a response from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping is also a term used by Slack users to @ someone or send them a direct message (DM). Users might say something along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.” some of the editors and contributors to see if anyone’s available for discussion and contribution 😁

Translation editorsTranslation Editor Translation editors can approve translations for projects. The GTE (General Translation Editor) and LM (Locale Manager) roles can add new users with the "Project Translation Editor" role that can approve translations for specific projects.
