Why aren’t posts in my news feed displayed in chronological order?

Interesting posts are selected for your news feed with the help of special algorithms. They take hundreds of factors into account to determine how interesting a user would find each post. We analyze users’ comment activity, likes, time spent reading, link clicks, reposts, photo or video views, and music listened to. This allows us to personalize the order of posts in every user’s news feed.

If you don’t like how this function works, you can go to your news feed and disable the Interesting at the top option under the menu to the right.
