    We are happy with the results of this project. Nick met with us initially and meticulously reviewed our "wish list "and preferences, explaining all of the steps we could anticipate for the entire installation process. , the quality of the siding materials, type of windows and French doors etc. As soon as materials were delivered to the property, work began and continued in spite of very severe winter weather. Nick was always available to answer questions and provide updates. Louis, the on site supervisor was knowledgeable and kept the project moving along swiftly. This is our second time using American Home Remodeling as several years ago they replaced our roof so we had confidence in the company going in. Our house looks great and friends and neighbors have commented on the terrific "makeover".

    It went extremely well. The new door is beautiful and the workers were pleasant to work with. We needed some work done outside around the door, and the foreman gave us a great suggestion which worked perfectly for us. The banister (for our center hall colonial) was very intricate, and the old stain needed to be hand sanded in several areas and was tedious work. The crew did a wonderful job, and the new stain looks great. The family room and trim needed to be refreshed (this is the room the French door was added to) and it looks like a great job. The painters were very professional, and did a great job, including cleanup. We could not be happier with how things turned out

    From the first phone call requesting an estimate to the completion of the project, we had a very positive experience with Universal Windows. They kept every appointment( except one mutually agreed on cancellation due to projected bad weather) and arrived within the stated time frame. The work crew that performed the services were polite, friendly, hard working that completed the job on time and we couldn't have been happier with the results. They cleaned up nicely after themselves. They pointed out and very small hole in one of the screens that we may not have noticed for quite some time and may have very well accepted the responsibility. The screen was replaced in a very timely manner. They are the first company that we have contracted in many years that we actually called to get an estimate for another job!! I have no doubts that we will have another very positive experience!!

He’s a proud owner who knows his product. Also, he had some questions about our installation needs/wants and held off giving us a price until he spoke with his expert installer, Eric. We felt his price was the most honest since he knew exactly what was going to be done and not a salesman figuring in all possibilities and we having to pay for what may never have been done. We chose Universal Windows Direct because we felt they were knowledgeable and honest. We were right! Eric and his team of, polite, respectful, hardworking men installed our windows over 2.5 days. They never slow down! They worked through extreme heat as well. We love our windows and patio door.     We worked with Chris from Magnolia on a second floor remodel and were extremely happy with the process and results. The reno included demolition, framing for new roofline and dormers, roof and gutters, siding, new master bathroom, master closet, laundry space, wood floor and stairs, doors, millwork, tiling, masonry for a chimney extension, windows, and central air system. Chris is a great guy, very easy to work with it, trustworthy, and responsive. He hires skilled subcontractors and kept the reno moving at a good pace. There were no surprises with either the budget or scope of work. Magnolia made our dreams come true with this reno and we would definitely recommend them for your job

    The team at Tri-State Window Factory just did yet another fabulous install at our home (new storm door and window) and I had to share. They're meticulous throughout the whole process, from sales to measuring to installation, we have always had a pleasant experience with each team. We have done all our windows now at this point and a few doors too. Love it when friends and family comment on how nice they look and how well they're built. Never had any hidden surprises or costs either. The cost breakdown is clearly written up every time which we appreciate. We are fortunate to have found Tri-State and will continue to use them as needed ... their warranty policy is also hard to beat, just got a few of their window screens re-screened too that were damaged from years of weathering and no hassles and no charge

Most recently we had a new storm door put on the back of the house and replaced our last "old window." Andreas and team were fantastic (as they have always been!) the measurements were completed at the time they indicated (and the gentleman wore mask and gloves without question) and the day of installation was seamless and clean.     Andersen Windows recommended Jobs for a Handyman for a problem I was having with my patio door handle. Elvis answered my call immediately, was at my house in 15 minutes and repaired the handle in 10. In addition to being prompt and courteous, he was kind enough not to charge me since it was a simple fix.     Back in April, my wife and I hired John Pinto (Go Carpenter) to address the following 4 issues at the house we recently purchased. 1) Installation of a fire door for the utility\laundry room 2) Repair of the main door which had cracks in the frame and would not close properly. 3) Repair of a sliding closet door in the basement apartment 4) Soundproofing the kitchen door leading to the basement Starting from the initial phone call onward, John was hands down one of the most responsive, professional and honest individuals, I have ever hired. He performed an initial walkthrough to meet and better capture the scope of the work so he knew what exact materials to purchase. It was during this visit that he found that there was no need to replace the entire main door frame. Instead, he suggested we try to use longer screws to anchor the door to the wall stud. Also, he found the kitchen door did not need to replaced. He suggested that he install a door sweep and better insulation lining around gaps in the door frame. It has been nearly two months since the work was done. I can honestly say that his suggestions were spot on, worked without fail and were highly cost effective. Speaking of pricing, that is another reason why I liked John’s approach. He charged us a flat rate for the labor based on the amount of time he estimated the project would take him and his colleague. He then purchased the materials and we simply reimbursed him based on the receipts when he was done. We knew exactly what products he purchased and installed and how much they cost. This method provides completely transparency and I appreciated it. All in all, John and his team were complete professionals and I am planning on hiring them for future projects in the house. He is an excellent contractor
