Pittsburgh Master Bedroom Remodel

Marshall and his team did an excellent job in gutting and then completely remodeling our master bathroom. The bathroom looks beautiful and the work is very well done. Marshall is a professional in every way. He is very neat, conscientious, and attentive to the needs of his customer. We highly recommend him!

J&M contracting did a fantastic job on our bathroom and bedroom remodel. The craftsmanship and attention to detail far outweighed my expectations. They were easy to work with and were extremely meticulous with details. I appreciated their honesty when it came to our old house electrical issues that came up.

We are thrilled not only with the way that our bathroom turned out, but also by the whole experience and the way the project was managed by Mike at Bathroom Solutions. First, Mike presented a very detailed contract spelling out exactly what he was planning to do, the materials he planned to use, and the price associated with everything. This was very helpful for us to know what to expect, and he did not nickel and dime us when the unexpected happened. All the guys on the team did great quality work. They were very meticulous and patient with us to make sure everything was done just as we wanted it. They guided us closely along the way with picking out all of the materials from the tile to the granite, faucets, etc. The work included knocking down walls, and putting them back up. They were particular about matching the plaster walls we had in the rest of the bathroom and the bedroom. Since part of the wall they had to put up was part of our bedroom, we had them paint the rest of our bedroom as well, which was also done perfectly and reasonably. They did all the demo including pulling out the bathfitter, taking out the overheads, ripping up the tile, pulling out the vanity and mirror, etc. They also rewired us with copper since much of the house is wired with aluminum. When they put in the copper wire, they built in a way that would easily allow us to rewire the rest of the second floor at a later time and they even left us additional wire for it. One of the unexpected things that happened during the job was when they took out the small wall that separated the toilet and shower from the sink area. They expected the main pipe to be all running along the exterior wall, but for some reason it was going through this interior wall they were taking out. They took care of redirecting it at no extra charge. We always felt like Mike was looking out for our best interests and wanted to get the job done right. The team was reliable and there on time everyday. They worked around us not having some materials ready quite at the right time. In the end, our bathroom turned out even nicer than we expected and it was designed and thought out for the best functional use of it as well. We have been using it for the past few months now and couldn't be happier. The guys at bathroom solutions are all meticulous professionals and we would trust them for any job in the future, large or small. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

We were very pleased with the design help we got from Martha, the design consultant. We were also very pleased with the installer, Matt. We were extremely impressed with his workmanship and professionalism demonstrated during the completion of our bathroom project. Matt was meticulous in his work habits and his attention to detail was extraordinary. With over 40 years of having work done in our home, Matt, by far, was the hardest worker we have ever experienced. He kept on task and exhibited excellent workmanship. The person who I spoke with was very patient and conscientious. He took the time to listen what my needs were and gave some good suggestions. He is still waiting for my response as I told that I?m putting it on hold for the time being.

Marshall and co. remodeled 2 bathrooms for me this year – a powder room and a master bath. He transformed both ugly bathrooms into beautiful spaces. For the master bath, it was Marshall’s input from our first meeting that drove the design. He removed a closet in the master bedroom to generate more space for the master bath and a walk-in closet. Understandably, the demolition was a dusty mess that required sealing off and retreating to the guest bedroom for the duration of the project. But Marshall’s craftsmanship and eye for design along the way made the project a success. We were able to communicate effectively by phone and texts. He handled the glass and countertop templating with respective contractors, picked up the tile and fixtures I had ordered and handled all the details with professionalism. Considering the scope of the project, Marshall kept to a timely schedule completing the entire project in 8 weeks. I am very happy with the results! Brian really wants to please. He works very hard. I always have a list of typical house issues and he manages to take care of all of them.

Working with Al Lewis, Dick, his foreman, and the rest of his crew was a great experience. We obtained a few estimates for the kitchen remodel and Al's pricing was the most reasonable. The crew was extremely punctual and reliable. They would show up each day for work promptly at 8:00 a.m. and would cleanup each day before they left. Al kept our budget in mind throughout the remodel. The responsiveness we received from Al was nothing less than exceptional. We could literally call Al at 9:00 p.m. on a Sunday night to address a question and he would answer our call and be happy to do so. Overall we were extremely pleased with the end result and our kitchen and master bedroom turned out great. I would highly recommend using Window and Kitchen Specialists.
