Recent Review: Our project was to remodel our small basement bathroom. It had a tiny 19 x 17 sink and vanity and a 3 foot shower stall. The existing stall was installed about 8 inches above the floor level so the inside height was about 80 inches at most. Our goal was to update to a larger vanity and larger shower. We sent out requests to several contractors but none were willing or able to take the project on. One of them who had very high Angie's List ratings could not accommodate our time frame but did refer us to Jamin at Laurel Craftsmen. One of the big issues with the project was that we live in Atlanta and had a small timeframe to work with when we would be in Pittsburgh. Jamin recommended that we open the basement floor and run the shower drain underneath giving us additional height in the shower at the same time warning that until demolition of the existing structure was complete there could be hidden issues. Anyone who watches HGTV knows this is always the case and ours was no exception. Jamin felt he could complete the project in 2 weeks but also stated that he is a perfectionist and it would not be complete until he was satisfied. After the project started we threw a curve when we wanted to move one of the existing walls to further enlarge the room. Did I mention that in doing so he had to also accommodate other existing drain pipes. Well he handled it with ease. After issues with non-level floors, an unknown floor drain, hidden damage from prior leaks, prior non-code plumbing, etc the project was complete only one day later than expected. We now have a roomy bathroom with a 4 foot shower with plenty of headroom, a full 30 inch vanity, a new efficient toilet, new flooring, trimwork, walls and storage. We could not be happier with the work Jamin did for us. We would highly recommend him (A++) for any projects you might have. Thank you, Jamin.

She provided knowledgeable guidance and support with all of our questions, concerns, and choices. This is our first, and hopefully only, home renovation. We had an abundance of questions/concerns - Terra timely responsiveness to these questions/concerns via email and telephone was much appreciated. We felt very comfortable working with Terra and would recommend her services and the products at Budget to others who are taking on any type of kitchen or bathroom renovations, big or small!

Recent Review: There was a slight problem with how the holes were drilled but they came out and fixed it without any additional charge. I would recommend them.

Recent Review: We had two extensive bathroom renovations done. They did a superior job. Mike Emanuel is an extremely nice guy, very professional and very knowledgeable. He is completely reliable and honest. Work was done with superior quality. Adam is an artist and perfectionist. He did fabulous work with doing marble work. We would recommend them enthusiastically and unconditionally.

Recent Review: They had to go into the attic to check the connections. There were two men. The fan works perfectly. The doorbell works the same as the last one. I have decided that the problem is the wiring. It only goes ding not d***. They did all they could do. I was pleased with the service and will call them again.

Recent Review: Superior Contractors provided excellent service. Gary was easy to work with and all of the workers were considerate and professional - I felt comfortable having them in my home. They were responsive to questions and concerns and helpful in the remodeling process. I also like the "pay-as-you-go" model. The end products looks great and functions well. I would definitely hire them again.

Recent Review: When we asked all our friends/family/coworkers for a good contractor recommendation all we heard were horror stories. But thank god for Angies List and Carmen! We got a few estimates for our job before hiring Carmen, but Carmen stood out as the most detail oriented and attentive contractor we met with by far. His quote wasn’t the *lowest* estimate we got, but it was definitely the best justified based on the time and attention he gave us in reviewing all aspects of our job and answering all our questions. His attention to detail and genuine care for the quality of work he does carried through our entire renovation. From the temporary shower he built in our basement (to use while our only bathroom was under construction) to the perfectly aligned tile in our shower enclosure - everything was expertly planned and executed. Carmen was great about communicating next steps as the project progressed and we felt confident about his work during the whole process. On top of being great craftsmen, Carmen (and his helper Ryan) are just all around friendly guys that were a pleasure to have in our home for a few weeks. We’re so happy we found Carmen and now we finally have a great contractor to refer to others!!
