He was really nice. He was on time and courteous and he is clean and dressed properly. He had a mask on. He utilized and put on my desk together. He was polite and respectful. I will recommend them to people. He was kind to somebody who's disable. He won't take advantage on me.

Mr. Lawton is knowledgeable, honest, professional and thorough. He explains the source of problems and provides solutions that are cost effective. We have utilized his services to repair drywall, fix electrical problems, install handrails for my disabled mother, replace a broken ceiling fan, clean and stain my deck and other odd jobs. He is always considerate about finding affordable solutions and in helping prioritize tasks. His prices are fair. We highly recommend him.

I am a disabled vet and Jason Gibbs was patient and kind all the way through. His work was meticulous in all areas f his work and tried to accommodate me in everyway, I have a show place bathroom now thanks to him with real ceramic tile and granite trim. I guess the best thing I can say is he is coming back to do my other bathroom. You couldn't hire a better company than Affordable Tile.

My husband gave him the money upfront. He started the job, which was not done well then never returned. Was unable to contact him. He took the money from a 72 yo disabled Viet Nam vet. We had to pay someone to rip out the work he had done bc it was so bad and pay someone else to do the work we paid Will Evans to do.

I got them from Angie’s List and they were rated very high. I am going to call them again to help me with a room in the basement. They stressed all I had to do was point. And they would take them from any place in the house that I needed them to take it from. I am disabled and they were great. Anglie’s List gave them a special award, that I saw when I looked on line. They came two days after I called them, they were very responsible.

When I first contacted Joe I had been swindled by another contractor. I was a mess! I called him on a Friday about noon and told him my story. He came out in person (the owner of the company). Joe was like an ANGEL to me!!!! This may sound far fetch but..... I had to be out of my apartment in 7days. The only reason I bought this house was be close to my very disabled son that lived in a home nearby. Joe understood this! He pushed other jobs back and brought other resources in to get me in my home. I also needed a lot of work done that was not as urgent. He put it on his schedule. He came back and put my beautiful fence in so my disabled son would be safe! He also got my son’s fort/playhouse in so my son could enjoy it this summer. Austin loves it!!! Joe is an excellent communicator. There are always things that come up that are not expected. He always got in touch with me when issues came up. He always said to me "WHAT DO YOU WANT"! This is so rare these days!!!!!!! He prepped my kitchen for another company to put in cabinets and ceramic tile. By the way because Joe spoiled me, working with other companies was very painful. My ceramic tile put in by a big box store s is still not fixed 2 weeks later. Also, working with another store for my cabinets and appliances was so painful, compared to Joe. Joe and his company did it all for me!!! They would also bring things to my attention that needed repair that I would have never even thought of ( i.e. a water leak on the man line coming into my home) because this is my 7th home I have had and all of the other homes have been 2 years or less so this was all new to me! I feel like I am settling in a brand new home because of Joe Wood and his team. They all gave 110%. Because of what happened to me with a previous contractor and also the larger companies I will only do business with Joe no matter how long I have to wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very poorly. Contract was suppose to be finished in two weeks and it took over seven weeks to get most of it done. Contractor who was new to the area said he had trouble getting subcontractors to deliver on time. I stupidly paid him off as he told me he was short on money and needed it to purchase remaining parts. Items remaining to be done was the back splash, sanding and varnishing of a pantry and seating item and installing four missing shelves from the cabinets. He told me that the vendor had not shipped the shelves yet after three days after he left the job, I called the vendor and received the shelves in three days. He incorrectly measured a cabinet above the sink and range and said he would replace it but did not. He said he would build and install a shelf unit in the utility room and did not do that. All electrical wall plates were left off the walls. Cabinets were installed without knobs. After I paid him he did not return again. My wife and I are in our seventies and disabled and could not get around easily to review the results as he was completing things. The pictures shown are not exactly in order. For the record, my wife and I are a disabled senior couple. Neither of Us have ever written a review. We are both level headed retirees from the aerospace industry. This company consists of three brothers who do bathroom and kitichen remodeling in Cincinnati, Ohio. We picked them from three in-home estimates. This company, represented by Tom Moore (one of the three brothers) was well on the way to getting our business with a high review. But something happen. I am not sure what or why. And this falls into the category of "I don't care why". Hense no attempt to contact the company. Long story short, they gave a verbal assurance the bath remodel job would not exceed $8,000. And they were able to start in about 2-3weeks. When Tom brought the contract to the house to sign, it was for >$10,000. He also informed Us they could not start untill after the new year (2016). Ok not looking good so far. But then Mr. Moore went to a place a proffessional should never ever go with a customer. When leaving the house he pointed to someone walking up our street on the opposite side of the road. The person (who I could not see their face to identify) appeared to be a young tall boy of color wearing a hoody. It was a cool raining windy day. The boys' hood was up. Tom remarked he would never live where "something like that" was walking past his house because he had two teenage daughters! My wife is colored. Enough said?

I was about to leave for the airport for a 6 day trip. Our shower stall clogged and we had water backing up everywhere in our master bathroom. I had to leave my disabled husband to deal with it. We had used Nixco (pricey but satisfactory) before so he called and the girl said she would call the plumber and he would call back with his arrival time. My husband waited hours and finally got a call from the plumber saying he was in the ER and "should" be getting out shortly. Said he would call back when he knew more. Now it is Saturday night and my husband can't use any of the bathrooms on the first floor. The plumber called back again late Sat. night saying that he was too sick and not able to come. In the meantime, a call was made to the office but the girl said that the "sick" plumber was the only one they had on call. "If" she could find someone else, she would call the house. Finally, Sunday morning, my husband called another company and they had the problem solved within a few hours. Needless to say, we won't be calling Nixco again. I was never going to write a review but Nixco told Angie's List that we were a customer and Angie's List kept bugging us for a review.

Overall the entire remodel experience was most satisfactory and not the nightmare something like this fairly extensive project might have been. I would recommend Rod's Home Improvement without reservation and would (and will) use his services again.
