    Notice that every one of these logos embodies the noob mistake of trading legibility for distinctiveness. If you're designing a logo for your startup, I recommend you skip this stage and go straight to legibility.

    I read this ACLU brief. This is the first time, at least to my knowledge, that ACLU is explicitly arguing in court that the First Amendment's free speech clause has been interpreted *too broadly* by courts, and are advocating *a more restrictive view* of what free speech means.

    Here's what the center of Bristol looks like as a result. Good luck making that walkable. The upside is that more of the countryside around Bristol is preserved, but very much at the city's expense.

    If you're on the M4 and want to get to Bristol Airport, for example, Google tells you to go through the center of the city. "That can't be right," you think. But alas it is.

    Bristol answers a question that I hadn't previously considered: what happens when a city doesn't have a ring road? The answer is that all traffic goes through the center of the city.
