    We’re investigating an outage at one of our data centres. It’s currently affecting the web player and syncing. Being able to get new episodes, play and download, etc are un-affected. We’ve identified the cause and have raised an urgent ticket with our hosting provider.

    This issue is now resolved, and a firehose of new episodes are coming out instead of the trickle it was when we posted the last update. 👩‍🚒 It will take our servers a bit of time to get them all out but we wanted to keep you up to date.

    Our team is investigating and working on the current slow down in new episodes coming out. It's our top priority to get those back to being lightning fast. We've also posted an update to our blog to keep you in the loop on what we're working on.

    Thanks to all the people that helped us find an issue with Patreon private episodes not downloading. It looks like a change at Patreon’s end we aren’t handling correctly and we’re testing a fix now, which we’ll deploy in the next 48 hours. Thanks for your patience and help! 🕵️‍♂️🕵️

    …and not just back to normal, but faster and better than ever! We really appreciate your patience during these times. We’re also based in Australia, so all of this happened while we were asleep which isn’t ideal. We’re working on that part too and ramping up our o/s team. 3/3

    …some slowdowns and other cascade effects as whole bunch of caches needed to be rebuilt. We knew that these caches needed to be updated, but we didn’t anticipate just how long that would take. We’re really sorry about that and are working to bring things back to normal…2/3

    Hi all! One of our biggest short term priorities is speeding up how quickly our apps find new episodes. As part of that we’ve been working on a set of server changes the first of which we deployed yesterday. Rather ironically (and not in a funny way) this change caused… 1/3

    If you use our Android app and it’s crashing on you this is the most likely cause: Updating the “WebView” component through Google Play should fix the issue. Feel bad for whoever at Google let that one through 😬
