New Update crashes Classic editor
-
After i made the update of the plugin this morning, i suddenly lost all features of the classic editor for pages, posts and custom posts. The second i deactivated the plugin, all was back.
Help. I love your plugins

Hello,
We are sorry you are not able to use the functionalities of the Classic editor while Yoast Duplicate Post is activated.
To troubleshoot, can you confirm that you are running WordPress 5.6 and that other plugins are updated?
Thanks!
Hi @maybellyne @bchampagne,
Thanks for your previous message !
I’ve the same problem on my WP5.6 multisite install with classic editor. The edit post screen is not working. In the browser console, I can seen this error message :Uncaught Error: Minified React error #200; visit https://reactjs.org/docs/error-decoder.html?invariant=200 for the full message or use the non-minified dev environment for full errors and additional helpful warnings. render https://www.mysite.fr/wp-includes/js/dist/vendor/react-dom.min.js?ver=16.13.1:238 renderClassicEditorMetabox https://www.mysite.fr/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/classic-editor-1560.js:1 default https://www.mysite.fr/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/classic-editor-1560.js:1 <anonymous> https://www.mysite.fr/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/post-edit-1560.js:1 r https://www.mysite.fr/wp-includes/js/dist/dom-ready.min.js?ver=5316a69cb8a665ca6252926589751f9a:2 <anonymous> https://www.mysite.fr/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/post-edit-1560.js:1 f https://www.mysite.fr/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/commons-1560.js:1 t https://www.mysite.fr/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/commons-1560.js:1 r https://www.mysite.fr/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/commons-1560.js:1 <anonymous> https://www.mysite.fr/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/post-edit-1560.js:1
Thanks for your help !
Yes.. all is installed. And i also have a Multisite install of WP
Thanks for sharing the console errors.
Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen.
Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.
As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts.
This is not an option for me. I do not have access to a developement environment and i run a multisite with child themes all dependant of the main site. i can just switch to 2021 theme, disable site as it will stop service for many of our customers.
Hi,
Thanks for your patience. We’ve released version 4.0.1.
