Our organization performs professional meetings and video conferencing seminars through zoom. Inviting executives, employers, and employees through sharing zoom links has made the organization's activities easier and increased productivity. Yes, the whole organization uses zoom. Mechanism of products and services, business feasibility of products and services, research and development, etc. are discussed through arranging zoom meetings and video conferencing seminars.
  • Audio and video conferencing
  • Sharing documents
  • Chatting
  • Should provide unlimited time without any cost like google meet
  • Should launch instant meeting link like google meet
  • Should be used without downloading
Zoom has a smooth interface and the simultaneous audio, video conferencing features, and screen sharing options are mentionable advantages. For saving time and increased efficiency of meetings, Zoom is one of the best communication tools. Zoom is unfitted for unlimited time-based virtual meetings without any cost. It does not have [an] instant link creating facility like google meet.

Zoom is an easy-to-use video-conferencing application. It is one of my favorite communication tools for my office, especially during this epidemic time. What I like best about Zoom is its portability, which allows us to access the application from any location. The best approach is to run a meeting, an online class, or any other work-related activity. Multiple breakout rooms can be created for large audiences using seamless video conferencing. It has set no limit on the amount of meeting recordings it saves in the cloud, which is the most fantastic thing a company can do to demonstrate its focus on the client. Planned features such as screen sharing, raising a hand in case someone has something to say, annotating options, and the level of zoom facilitation are all excellent ways to keep meetings quiet and focused. Zoom is backed by an excellent support crew that is dedicated to keeping their clients satisfied. It's simple to take over as host or make someone co-host.
  • Recording Options — Zoom's local recording capability allows both free and paid members to record conferences. Cloud recording enables users to record audio, video, and chat text and share it with Dropbox, YouTube, and Vimeo.
  • Design that Makes Sense — Zoom's design focuses on simplicity and ease of use. Three easy actions allow users to join a meeting without installing anything. With the app's clean, uncluttered interface you only see the most important elements on the home screen.
  • Supports Large Audiences – Some conference call providers only allow 25-100 people in a video or audio meeting. Large meeting licenses from Zoom allow you to have meetings with 500-1,000 people.
  • Security Reason — Zoom has been working to solve a security weakness that allows hackers to see the full host screen, even though they are just supposed to share a tiny piece of the host's screen.
  • Lack of Customer Service – Unfortunately, many Zoom users have discovered the company's customer support is lacking, even for those who pay a monthly membership fee.
Zoom is the most user-friendly HD video conferencing solution. Experts praise the app for its performance, cost, and free plan. It is simple to use and provides a wide range of functions to meet the requirements of its users. Aside from customizing/modifying backgrounds, users may also share their device screens, add graphics to movies, and record video while doing so, all without the use of additional software. It reduces the amount of background noise, allowing you to concentrate better. Zoom has committed to addressing privacy and security concerns, such as the need for passwords to join sessions. It's a terrific alternative if you're not talking about anything sensitive or confidential.

I'm a psychotherapist and I use it to consult [with] my clients. Since Covid started, I needed a way to interact with my clients and I'm lucky to have found Zoom. I can easily set appointments and exchange information through Zoom's seamless video sessions.
  • Better video quality.
  • Virtual background.
  • I can arrange a collective session with more [than] 5 people. By the way, I use it for counseling and group therapy sessions.
  • So many controls, sometimes I get confused.
In my line of work, I mean therapy, it is very helpful. People are more comfortable opening up and share things that they would not normally touch upon. I have seen a great improvement in my work since I have started using Zoom for therapy sessions.

This application offers me good collaboration with my team members and it is a time-saving product, that never bounds me being bound about to carry my work on the basis of time zone and the place. This tool has shared my workload as I [have gotten] rid of sending excessive emails to my clients. Zoom offers consistent services and facilitates me in scheduling the meetings.
  • I easily discuss business plans and together we are working for the uplift of our organization. This application is very easy to customize and I am truly influenced by its intuitive interface and quality customer services that never leave me in the lurch.
  • Zoom is a very user-friendly application that allows me to conduct the meeting anytime and anywhere because it facilitates me for remote working.
  • Screen Sharing is one of the most efficient features that let us communicate while sharing screens.
  • It has made [it] so easy to connect with my team all they have to do is to click my already sent meeting URLs. The video calling quality is very amazing no buffering or image distortion is associated with it.
  • The mobile application does not display some of the features that are available on the desktop version also it should be integrated with Dropbox or other similar applications so that one can have the full backup of the data.
  • Another drawback is, sometimes I have to face voice distortion. My internet connection is very strong, I do not know why I have [...] face distortion.
  • In addition, sometimes the connection break up [causes] trouble in connecting with my team members and it takes [a] good amount of time. Also, Zoom limits you about the credit hour of your meeting sessions.
I will highly recommend this application to the entire business sector; this tool will help you get rid of extra expense that [was] spent on traveling, this software gives you freedom of work and it is available in various plans based on your team size, thus they allow you to choose according to the budget.

Zoom is used across whole organization of ours. We use it for daily meetings, quality training, end user interaction, internal training purposes, etc. We use it to address day-to-day activities, events, seminars, and communicate with large group of people from remote location. Its user-friendly interface allow us to understand the conversation that's been in meeting agendas by sharing projections through screen sharing and sorting out the problem with the team on various issues.
  • Screen sharing
  • Connectivity
  • User friendly
  • Easily accessible through mobile
  • Picture quality
  • More user windows to be added on single screen of mobile application
  • Calendar integration should be improved
Its is well suited where connectivity is weak, as it performs really well on slow internet.

Less appropriate when a user logs in--it shouldn't notify a new joinee frequently

Zoom is being used across the whole organization during work from home time. It helps us organize webinars, sessions, meetings, and interactions with a lot of features. It has a recording function, which is very useful for meetings and webinars. The webinar add-on is useful for view-only webinars with a Q&A option.
  • Recording--It can be done in local system or cloud; takes very little space with high quality recordings.
  • Live streaming--It can be done to Facebook, YouTube, and custom RTMP.
  • Virtual background and filters--Works very well with green screen or any computer with medium specifications.
  • Uptime
  • Customized enterprise plans
  • Pricing--The paid plans have slightly higher pricing in comparison to other software but it is worth it in terms of features.
  • Watermark--Live streaming adds a Zoom watermark in the bottom right corner of the stream. This can be made optional or editable in higher versions of Zoom.
  • Android--The Zoom Android application has multiple missing features which are only available in the PC or iOS version of Zoom.
Zoom is suitable for business meetings, webinars, live interactions, panels, etc. The live streaming function can also be used for hosting live sessions on your website, YouTube, Facebook, and similar platforms. Webinars require a paid add-on if the webinars are view-only. Panels can also be hosted via Zoom because it has a high participant limit.

Zoom has been used by organizations for their video conferencing needs. It's been many years that we have been using Zoom and it has been proven as one of the best software for video conferencing. The software is used by almost everyone across my organization on the daily basis for meetings, learning sessions, and other things. It has made connecting easier with colleagues, especially during this time when the world is working from home Zoom has really helped us a lot. Its user interface is easy to use and offers excellent service. I can easily share the invite by sharing a link or a meeting ID. The meeting can be easily secured by adding a passcode to it. The screen sharing feature helps in sharing screens and presenting data and information during video meetings. The paid version can be used to host webinars for a large number of people.
  • Video conferencing: Zoom provides an excellent and smooth video conferencing experience.
  • Screen sharing: Zoom allows users to share their screen during conferencing, using which we can easily present data to the people in the meetings.
  • Webinars: Zoom can be used to host webinars for the whole organization, where people in 1000s can join the meeting at a single time.
  • Zoom can add a few more interactive features like some interactive backgrounds, etc.
  • The user interface can be made a bit more engaging.
Zoom is well suited for any kind of video conferencing requirement.

Zoom has been the most interactive and user-friendly video conferencing and chat software that I've used so far. Zoom is widely integrable with most calendar apps and makes it easy for you to schedule meeting with your clients and invite others to screen sharing sessions. We use it across the organizaction. We use Zoom internally for chat purposes, we love the client zoom app and all its functions. You can star important messages, go back in time to search for the previous conversion by just typing a keyword. And extra points for the GIF library. And lastly, auto-recording meetings are so useful.
  • Screen Sharing
  • Video Confering
  • Instant Messaging
  • The Softphone does not work with screen sharing
If you are looking for a video conference cloud option, Zoom maybe your best option. They are very reliable, fast, and mostly integrable with all your CRMs and software.

We sell software as a service and utilize Zoom to do our product demos and hold other virtual meetings. It is a very easy software to implement and has a great interface for both the users and the admins. Cost is great, and we have had virtually no problems with Zoom!
  • Price
  • Easy to Use
  • Reliability
  • Need a strong internet connection
  • Limits on personal meetings
Any virtual meetings, Zoom is a wonderful tool.

For our organization, we give a lot of online demonstrations. Zoom is a wonderful tool for that because not only can we screen share and talk with our perspective clients, but we can also give them controls, take controls from them, and even use a whiteboard to share notes. We have also made multiple recordings to send to them so they can share with the rest of their team. This has been a very powerful tool for us.

Zoom is being used throughout the company whether it has to do with meetings, meetups, and peer to peer communication. It addresses all of the problems of getting everyone together for a meeting, but now it's only an email away to get everyone together and in a meeting together. It has made it much easier to get together and converse about upcoming projects throughout the company.
  • Easy to navigate
  • Bring able to start and invite people to a meeting in just a few clicks is amazing
  • Very user friendly
  • It would be nice if zoom could add a better chat feature
  • More small goodies here and there (More backgrounds?)
  • Zoom emails and room ID's can get a little confusing at times
Zoom is well suited for any kind of business that requires people meeting together and brainstorming ideas or coming up with ideas for a potential project. The simplicity of being able to click a few buttons, gather a group, and have everyone in one room is great. Also having breakout rooms is very nice when everyone needs to break up into their respective departments.

Because we are in the healthcare industry, we rely heavily on effective interaction to keep our things running smoothly. As a result, we use Zoom for our daily operations conferences as most of our employees are working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, zoom is used throughout the company, along with most of our employees.
  • Chat system.
  • Audio and video recording.
  • Screen sharing.
  • Great audio and video quality.
  • Performance of the software is bad when Internet speed is low.
  • Meeting time is limited.
  • Interface Is not user friendly.
Zoom works well with a variety of environments, including the workplace, conferences, meetings, and personal settings. It has been extremely beneficial to interact and keep up with someone without having to travel or attend a meeting in person. This has enabled users to digitally host meetings which we would have missed.

We're a geographically widespread organization--our two main offices are about 350 km apart. We've used Zoom for all kinds of meetings from one-on-one conversations to webinars for our whole organization. We've had meetings running for whole days without issues. We use a wide range of client OSes from Windows to MacOS to Linux and FreeBSD. The FreeBSD port doesn't have sound support (yet). During the SARS‑CoV‑2 pandemic, Zoom has proven invaluable to us because most of our employees suddenly had to work from home only and because of travel restrictions.
  • Almost complete multi-platform support
  • Very easy to use
  • Generally very good performance
  • High stability
  • Full support for FreeBSD and Solaris/OpenIndiana
  • List of recent meetings available on the user's webpage on Zoom.us (especially good for recurring meetings)
  • Slack-like functionality, so we can get rid of MS Teams
  • XMPP (or similar open standard) support for chat
  • For a company, I can think of no better product than Zoom. It supports a huge amount of users and it works well.
  • I've done whole-day two-person meetings where we worked on an issue together. The screen-sharing function is really great in that situation.
  • We've used Zoom for meetings where some participants were outside using a cellphone, others were traveling by train, and others were in the office. Generally without issues.
  • If you need something that is open source, look elsewhere.
  • If you're a small organization, Zoom might be too expensive.

My team at work telecommutes about 40% of the time, with some of us in the office and others working from home on any given day. We use Zoom as a web conferencing and teleconferencing tool for our daily standup meetings and for ad-hoc collaboration. It enables us to communicate and collaborate with each other regardless of where we're physically located.
  • It's reliable and provides good quality audio and video conferencing. We've had issues with other web conferencing solutions, but not with Zoom.
  • It's easy to use. Creating a meeting, joining a meeting, and using the tool are all intuitive and don't require training.
  • I don't have any complaints with it so far and can't think of anything I would like to change.
Zoom is a great tool for remote team collaboration, screen sharing, and web conferencing. They have a generous free pricing tier that's great for small teams and casual use.

As we are health care industry, we mostly rely on effective communication for making our operations successful and trouble free, Hence We are using Zoom for our Day to Day meetings as most of the staff are working from Home due to COVID-19 pandemic and it is used for whole organization, even most of our financial committee, internal audit committee and board of governors meetings are being held on zoom.
  • Remarkable for group video conferences feature.
  • Screen sharing and recording features: Both are very easy to use even for basic users.
  • Join a meeting is very easy and with just a single click, participants can join meetings easily.
  • Creation of meetings is very simple.
  • Creation of Zoom Rooms for meetings is a nice and important feature of Zoom.
  • Meeting controls are limited, Join as "View only" setting is available in webinars only.
  • When it comes to securing the meeting.
  • Waiting room customization is very basic.
Zoom is ideal for medium to large organizations. The breakout room options are very useful when it comes to segregating a single meeting into multiple meetings. We create breakout rooms and transfer participants based on naming conventions. This approach is very useful. We've managed to optimize the use of licenses for multiple meetings. When it comes to security features, it's difficult to manage meeting security on breakout rooms, as the security setting for each breakout room is different. For example, if we apply security settings to the main room, it would be applicable to the main room only. For each breakout room, we have to manually go and apply security settings for chat, emojis, mic control, etc. or the default settings will be applied.

At my own office location, Zoom is used by everyone, primarily for video communication purposes, either with fellow coworkers or external collaborators. In my day-to-day work activity, I use Zoom for video communication with my colleagues and, more importantly, with external talents I track for my company's job openings.
  • Integrations--Zoom integrates smoothly with a lot of important software I use at work. One of them is Calendly, which Zoom has a fantastic integration with, making it convenient for anyone to book Zoom meetings with me via my Calendly appointment page.
  • Recording.
  • Team chat.
  • I dislike how Zoom tends to end meetings, when the internet connection of a participant goes bad, regardless of the connection state of the other participants.
  • I wish non-Zoom users could easily join meetings without having to download Zoom or even sign up for Zoom.
Zoom is well suited for professionals who have to initiate or have video meeting sessions with persons outside of their organization. In my own case, my role requires me to have video-based interviews with multiple job candidates on a regular basis, and Zoom is my preferred tool of choice. I use Zoom because I have come to realize that a lot of candidates I interview have Zoom already installed on their computer device, thus setting up meetings is easier and I do not need to deal with wasted minutes, wherein the candidate tries to understand how to use the software.

Zoom is a software, based especially [for] online meeting automation, which has a myriad of applications in terms of writing and editing live content for screen sharing sessions or one-way group presentations. [The meeting host can] constantly review the number of people who are attending the room [and] can configure privacy settings depending on whether you want another person participating in the meeting [to] host.
  • In our case, we really liked it [...] for being able to easily adapt to our way of working in a group by switching between different video configuration options[.] [D]epending on the presentation to be carried out, [...] [the] accessibility permissions [can be configured so] that other participants may [...] review our information or simply to stay in such meetings as listeners.
  • Another advantage of Zoom is that meetings can become quite interactive depending on the configuration that is chosen[.] Being able to edit [...] documents [and] also audiovisual content [suchas] electronic whiteboards, [can be] useful to [...] annotate information either based on brainstorming or [...] conducting [a] seminar and you have to create notes on the work completely live.
  • In the current situation of the pandemic, we have been forced to work completely remotely so that our income is not harmed but thanks to Zoom there have been no problems creating interactions between the work team and we can continue our work[...].
  • The technical support that zoom offers us has been exemplary, letting us choose the own solutions we want to apply to our software usage problems, mostly caused by compatibility with our devices. With [their] support team, we were able to solve all these problems and we can work with peace of mind.
  • Regarding Zoom's usability, it is very important to emphasize that it is one of the easiest video conferencing services to use nowadays, possibly due to the constant updates by its team of developers. This clearly makes it one of the most recommended video conferencing services for purely remote work[.] Meetings are easy enough to configure so that anyone associated with our group can use it without having to worry about managing any parameters or having any previous experience in this type of service.
  • In relation to the negative aspects of the platform, Zoom does not directly save the information that is shared within the meetings to external hosting platforms such as Dropbox or Mega[.] [This] [forces] us to transport the information manually and lose a lot of time in the process of saving our data from the meetings because [...] we need to generate [a] report and not having previously transported them we could not continue working.
  • The most important drawback with respect to Zoom is that it does not work on all [...] phones, and this limits [...] our employees with low-end devices that can not access the meetings, and based on that they tend to remain uninformed about some key points that stipulate during the execution of the same.
For us, where Zoom could be most useful would be if you are working with seminars, either for sales of any kind of product or service or for the execution of online classes. Since the Zoom approach can be customized to cover meetings of all kinds, it could feasibly [...] be used for smaller calls, whether personal or work-related, [that] simply need[s] to have a higher level of privacy. Zoom could also be used [for] group planning so that everyone involved is [...] notified of the points to be carried out when doing their part of the job, which even if it does not directly involve meetings is useful at an informational level, in case you are familiar with most of the services that exist to publish newsletters for a certain number of people to see.

We use Zoom specifically when interacting with enterprise clients, or clients who think Google Hangouts isn't as secure or reliable as needed. Zoom has been more reliable than Google Hangouts in many instances. Less confusion on which link to select, and in general less lag and better quality audio in my opinion.
  • Very easy to follow directions if you have clientele who aren't used to operating digital conference software
  • Great audio and video - especially when hosting numerous different people on different computers in different places
  • Fairly easy rescheduling and scheduling interface
  • I'm not exactly sure what the benefit of "dial by your location" is
  • Screensharing could be improved
Zoom is great if you have a company of 5 or more people and have frequent video calls where people aren't in the same room. Zoom is probably less suited if you're a freelancer or a small team that works together often.

There are times when a service specialized in remote communications is required, as is the case of the current global situation with the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, where the work has been maintained almost entirely remotely. Zoom is a software created for videoconferencing, which has remained as one of the best to meet remote sessions, but has now found a new boom in the market. Zoom has a regular technical support section, where employees receive clarifications on doubts about the use of the platform at least once a day, and that could improve compared to that offered by other services such as Gotomeeting, but this is compensated by the amount of information we get through the FAQ section of the software. If we talk about Zoom's ability to set up group meetings and make the work extensible at different levels of communication, Zoom clearly meets all the structural characteristics for productive use.
  • All sessions that are exercised can be freely recorded with appropriate privacy controls.
  • The connection status of all participants within the room can be reviewed.
  • Working with split screens is easy and useful for viewing information from different viewpoints.
  • Irrelevant of the number of people within a session, or the material used, sessions are arbitrarily closed if there is any kind of problem with the connection.
  • There are not many levels of privacy at which calls can be calibrated.
  • The image tends to freeze even when displayed in adequate quality.
It is suitable for almost any kind of work emergency that requires quick communication with co-workers. It is not useful if you do not have at least a mid-range device for meetings, as this would lead to quality problems.

In our organization we've been using Zoom meetings app for a long time and it helped a lot with our board meetings and team discussions. Best thing about the Zoom is it doesn't take much of a bandwidth to work and performs perfectly under any circumstances. Video and audio quality is also good and we can keep them recorded to watch later.
  • Meeting room can accommodate larger audience
  • You can stream your meetings on social media
  • Can schedule meetings on Google Calendar
  • Need more control over text chatting
  • private voice chat within the meeting room would be great
Zoom meetings can be effective in official discussions and board meetings in the company. It can also be used in Interviews, presentations and employee training sessions as well. There are some situations where you should participate physically such as user application training sessions should not be encourage to do remotely via Zoom meetings.

Zoom is an amazing app without any doubt, it is easy to access, and recording with audio transcription is one of the best features. I use Zoom for my personal purposes for communication with customers and team. The main goal of use of Zoom is need of unified tool for communications with remote teams and customers. Zoom solves these problems and gives possiblity to communicate from any device: laptop, tablet or smartphone. Even if users don't have [the] Zoom app installed on their device they can still use it from web-app which requires no installation or plugins.
  • No time limit for meetings
  • Ease of use (easy user interface)
  • Extended functions compared to other apps
  • Improved security features
  • Wider spectre of integrations with other IT-tools
Most well suited for meetings on a regular or occasional basis with remote teams, learning with groups of any scale, online events, or any other activities which requires communication with remote participants.

The least appropriate scenario where Zoom can be useful is transferring of confidential information due to lack of security capabilities.

My whole organization uses Zoom. It have been very helpful in covid times. Everyone is working from there home, so we don't want to go to office.
It has been very easy to do meetings and there is lot of people who can be involved. One can share screen with each other and present presentation.
The most used features is that one can control its own mic, video screen, each and every single feature on individual bases.
Need to different app for messages is also resolved with in built chat option.
It is easy to install and if any problem arises we can help our customers while sitting in our home.
Overall it is very good designed app for daily connectivity.
  • Control to mic, earphone, webcam
  • Very secured with different ID and password for each meeting
  • Built in chat option is useful
  • No restriction on user addition
  • Light weight app
  • Consume less power
  • Popup appears regularly 'your connection unstable' even when network is running at good speed
  • Chat option is not good. It lacks feature
  • It is costly
  • Poor backend service
It is very well suited if you regularly do meetings and present presentation.
And if you want to troubleshoot your customers system it is very useful as it is easy to setup.
It is not useful if you don't require regular meetings or presentation.
It is also not recommended if one does any physical work and does not require working on computer or something do manual working.

Zoom is being used by us for virtual webinars and as a training tool since the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and most jobs had to be done from home. It has been a very helpful tool for us, as our regular team meetings, management meetups, and webinars are being well organized through Zoom, and people are easily able to join the sessions on their any device from anywhere. We are using Zoom all across the organization on a personal-need basis.
  • Easy and comprehensive tool for virtual communication
  • Large audience can be added for virtual webinars
  • Audio and video quality is great for video chats and meetings
  • Limited meeting time (45 minutes) in one session for non-premium members
Zoom is one of the best virtual communication tools available in the market, and it can be great help for conducting team meetings and webinars whenever required. As the whole world is facing the situation of more online working instead of physical presence at workplaces, it can be a suitable addition to the software catalogue for any business or enterprise.

We have used Zoom in our organization to evaluate it's features and compare it to a couple of existing platforms that are comparable to it. We have a requirement to have 2 technologies for a business use case so that if one is unavailable, we can use the other for redundancy.
  • Intuitive design
  • Easy to use App
  • Nice features catering to millennial and next gen user community
  • Security
  • lack of knowledge about development practices
At the onset of the COVID19 Pandemic, when Zoom became extremely popular, it's lack of security design exposed it to malicious attacks and hackers who were successful in what was popularly known as Zoom bombing. That Zoom managed add security layers after the fact was very concerning. It is good to see Zoom has managed to take care of that. But it will take some more proactive marketing and communication on the part of Zoom to make this a go to app for Large corporate customers to adopt.

Zoom has been a pivotal integration into HubSpots remote friendly transition during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. With it, we can still host meetings, gather with colleagues, and do our best to replicate that in-person environment from the comfort of our homes. This is something used across our entire organization and will continue to be an integral part of our day to day.
  • Allows you to record meetings for those who can't make it.
  • Allows easy screen-sharing capabilities
  • Allows for various backgrounds to hide the mess of your apartment!
  • Breakout rooms can be difficult to facilitate
  • Specially, the software is very two dimensional and could be more realistic
  • I lose my chat window every time I'm presenting
In my eyes, Zoom really is the only option for video conferencing software suitable for a job like mine. It's quick, easy, and very user friendly for a diverse set of candidates. We also use Slack at HubSpot, and being able to spin up a Zoom with a simple command makes meeting on the fly easy.
