    There are many stupid takes on getting banned from Twitter. Charlie Kirk has the worst so far. The “will of the American people” is a helluva drug. And Chuck, MTG Congress account still alive. The “will” of NW Georgia still has a voice in big tech.

    New year, new Twitter. At least for those of us in Georgia constantly embarrassed by MTG. Now if only her voters would follow suit and choose another. She isn’t interested in governing.

    NEW - Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s personal twitter account is PERMANENTLY suspended after repeatedly violating the site’s COVID-19 misinformation policy. This, after posting a long misleading thread about the coronavirus yesterday.

    The lie of people who want to end public education: “your child’s education dollars.” We don’t do that with roads or health or colleges. Those taxes pay for all kids. And schools also get federal $ based on enrollment.

    Georgia needs Educational Freedom for all! If a restaurant chooses not to re-open, you can simply go to another one. If a public school chooses not to re-open, shouldn’t families have the option of taking their children’s education dollars elsewhere?

    Masks and vaccines and testing mandates are key to this. Without them and no data on vaccine uptake (like we have in Georgia), it is simply ideological middle finger to all on campus.

    46/48 For my family, I must state that college students were at low risk to begin with and now with >95% vaccination uptake in that group at most campuses; it is utter insanity to have them start remotely.

    LSU beats Georgia in saving lives, slowing spread, and not being stupid.

    New LSU guidelines for spring (via email): masks required, instructors have option for 100% remote for at least 1st 2 weeks, proof of negative test before on-campus move-in, monthly testing if not vaccinated. Glad we also have good air filters in classrooms.
