Crowdcast (March 1, 2020 – September 1, 2020 )
During COVID-19 and the economic situation in the world I put my start-up on hold and joined Crowdcast as Head of Customer Success. I’ll never forget this experience and the insane period of growth we experienced over such a short period of time. I was able to use my experience again within support from WooThemes and helped grow and manage a team of 10.
Dekode (January 1, 2017 – December 1, 2019)
Technical Advisor and Sr. Developer
Human Made (April 1, 2014 – December 12, 2016 )
Project Technical Lead at Human Made to help deliver high-end, large-scale WordPress websites for our enterprise clients. Clients included Fusion.net, Airbnb.com, Colt.net, NewRepublic.com and more.
WooThemes (2012 – 2014)
At WooThemes I worked with the WooCommerce project as a support specialist.
I also helped support their premium themes on WordPress.com along with organizing WordSesh, an online WordPress conference.
Metronet (2011-2012)
After moving to Norway I worked at Metronet developing custom WordPress plugins and themes for clients.
I also helped organize the first WordPress Meetup and WordCamp in Norway.
WebDevStudios (2009 – 2011)
My first job out of college and what started it all in my WordPress career. I was the first developer hire at WebDevStudios and within my first weeks of working there I was attending WordCamp, submitting plugins to the WordPress.org plugin repository and committing code to WordPress core. My three years at WebDevStudios consisted of developing plugins and themes for a wide variety of clients, custom builds, large migrations to WordPress and on-going support. I give a lot of credit to Brad Williams for kickstarting my WordPress career and showing me the importance of giving back to the community.
At Time Inc. I was the Sr. Front-end developer for EW.com. I also managed the EW.com blogs which were on WordPress VIP and the 10 most popular blogs on WordPress.com at the time.
I was contracted by Moving Interactive to launch the new RD.com (Reader’s Digest) and RDA.com site and re-design on WordPress.
Before Sucuri Security, Dre Armeda and Tony Perez ran a WordPress consulting company where I did contract work developing sites for clients.
