Life Change

I am fairly new to the web design field, returning to school a little over 6 years ago to learn the skills needed to start a career in the world of web development. I am loving all the creative aspects that go along with designing websites as well as the problem solving involved in this process. I also have 2 great kids and a wonderful husband that have been very supportive with this decision.

Tormach Inc.

I am currently employed as the Web and Content Specialist for Tormach Inc. in Waunakee, WI where I manage all website updates and social media positings. My daily tasks range from creating new products to sell in our online store, updating plugins, checking analytics, creating meta information for improved SEO, adding new custom CSS styles, sizing and saving photographs for proper web display, managing forms and landing pages in HubSpot and pushing out social media posts through Buffer. I always have plenty to do and am learning something new each day.

Discover Mediaworks

I was recently employed at Discover Mediaworks as an online support manager on the East side of Madison. I started here as a front end developer and was promoted to the online support manager. I enjoyed all aspects of this job from writing code to working directly with the client to make changes or additions to their websites.

American Family Insurance NHQ

I was able to work for the American Family Insurance Nation Headquarters in the Business Systems Solutions department. I was employed as a Web and Content intern and was in charge of making changes to the Claims portion of the Intranet site. I learned a lot and this was a fabulous experience to get to work for such a large company.
