    Our kinda robe 😍 This silk robe from 1860 is delicately embroidered with five coiled dragons and the eight Buddhist emblems of good fortune (pa ehi-hsiang), whilst the waist is secured with a sumptuous gold cord and tassel.

    Can you guess which century these ladies’ shoes were made? 🤔 Prior to the C.18th very little leather was used in women’s shoes. Intended to be worn indoors, boots like these were made with embellished silk grosgrain ribbon. (Not exactly practical...)

    Next up is this stunning Rebozo, a type of shawl from Mexico. The pattern is made by weaving alternating stripes of dyed cotton on a loom. 😍 The garment has many uses, offering the wearer protection from the sun and cold whilst also carrying goods and infants.
