Question about new horror movies

Halloween is coming and I'm wondering which is these newish horror movies is better: The Resort, Things Heard and Seen, The Vigil, Shadow in the Cloud, The Seventh Day and The Believer? You can see some movie scores in the articles for each of those films. From a quick look, The_Vigil_(2019_film)#Reception has the highest score on Rotten Tomatoes RudolfRed (talk) 19:52, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

This question Talk:Mack Sennett#Melbourne, Quebec ... or ... Richmond, Quebec ? has come up. If anyone has a subscription to the NYT and could check his obit to see if it matches the Britannica info then the article can be fixed. Your help will be appreciated. The only other reference to a Deville in Quebec which I could find in Newspapers.com was in the obit of a train engineer, George Arthur Byrd, who died in Massachusetts in 1941. It says he was born in Deville, Quebec, in 1859. In his early 20s, he was working on a train in Richmond, Quebec - which, according to the article, was formed in 1999 by a merger of "old" Richmond and the city of Melbourne, Quebec. ←Baseball Bugs ^{What's up, Doc?} carrots→ 05:19, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

The AP article actually says Denville, Quebec, which also doesn't exist. However, Danville, Quebec#Notable historical residents claims him as one of its own. Clarityfiend (talk) 05:20, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

Radio-Canada (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation)[1], The Canadian Encyclopedia[2] (or at least "Mikall Sinnott"), Le Journal de Montréal[3] and the British Film Institute[4] all agree he hailed from Danville. Clarityfiend (talk) 05:34, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

The AP article I ran across, for Nov 6, 1960, says Deville. That was in the New York Daily News. However, most (though not all) other versions in other papers on the same day say Denville. It's worth noting that Danville is less than 10 miles from Richmond. In his autobiography, Sennett writes, "I was born in Richmond, province of Quebec, on St. Anthony's Day, January 17, 1880."^[6] Many books sources report him, though, as hailing from Danville.^[7]  --Lambiam 09:10, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

You efforts will help in fixing the article. I'm not quite sure how to handle the Danville?Denville/Richmond aspect of things yet but I do appreciate your work. I think we can safely conclude that it's "Danville" rather than the other spellings. It's also possible Sennett was born in the nearby town of Richmond, even if he "came from" Danville. ←Baseball Bugs ^{What's up, Doc?} carrots→ 14:53, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

Indeed. Many people are born in medical facilities outside of their home, and if there is not such a medical facility in the city they live in, they may well be likely born in a different city they first lived in. For example, the town I grew up in (Hudson, New Hampshire) has no hospital or birthing center. Most people who have children that live in Hudson will give birth in a nearby city, such as Nashua, Manchester, or Lowell. There would be very few people who have a birthplace of Hudson. --Jayron32 17:05, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

Sennett describes himself as "a Canadian farm boy with no education". His parents, or at least his mother, had a farm in Danville: During some of 1935 and 1936, Sennett had returned to Danville, Quebec, on several occasions to visit and stay with his mother on her farm.^[8] His father ran a small hotel in Richmond.^[9]

Film battles with mutual annihilation + final showdown duel

I'm looking for films where the good and bad forces (or whoever the rival factions are) kill each other in a final battle - which only their leaders survive for the ultimate showdown duel (either one-sided, or mutually lethal). An example is Von Richthofen and Brown where both flying squadrons wipe each other before Von Richthofen's and Brown's concluding dogfight. I'm sure there are many other examples, but they don't come to my mind. Once Upon a Time in the West's final duel is not exactly an example, as Harmonica was not the leader of the men who mutually exterminated with Frank's men before. --KnightMove (talk) 09:47, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

Schedule Archive Sources

Hello, i'm new here and i've been attempting to document the Phineas and Ferb airings on Toon Disney in order to confirm episode premiere dates on the channel, due to the fact that the current documentation on that is quite poor. Currently, i'm missing the following days (all in 2008): September 3, 22 - 25; October 1 - 4; and some in November 2008 and January 2009. The sources i've already used are Zap2it, TVGuide and Toon Zone archives.
