Frank Coles is a British-American entrepreneur and a maritime lawyer.

Coles graduated with a master's degree in Maritime Law from the University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom.[1]
Career[edit]
Frank Coles was the Chief Executive Officer of Wallem Group,[2][3] a company which provides technology-driven maritime solutions[buzzword].[4][5][6] Before that, he was a CEO of Transas, a developer and supplier of software for navigation, fleet operation, training, and ship traffic control.[7][8][9] He also served as one of the members of the Board of Directors for Transas Marine.[1] The company was later acquired by Wärtsilä, a technology group.[10][11]
He started his career at sea 12 years prior to being a maritime lawyer. He served as a lawyer for 5 years and then became the Operations Director for Pacific Basin Bulk Shipping in Hong Kong.[1][11]
Coles also served as the President of Inmarsat Maritime and the Chief Executive Officer of Globe Wireless.[12]
