Chatura Kau was the first animated short film in the Odia language and was the first animated film produced in Orissa, India.[1] An adaptation of Aesop's The Fox and the Crow, the film was released 15 January 2008 by Surjya Narayan Patro, Orissa's Minister of Information Technology and Culture.

The film was developed by the students of Institute of Digital Media Technology, India (www.idmt.in) in Bhubaneswar.
