The family are in Kilkenny today at Wordcamp Ireland and there are about 250 people here I understand.

Hats off to the organisers and thanks to the sponsors who have enabled this event to take place for just 50 euro for the weekend (and of course the speakers who are gifting their time) and in particular Sabrina Dent for what I think must be a first at a BarCamp event – a kids corner. Entertainment and supervision is being provided for the children too. So now Hubby and I can sit back and relax learning more about the virtual world of WordPress in the full knowledge that our three girls are being looked after. And they will no doubt come back knowing some new friends they met in the real world. If only there were a WordCamp in Ireland every week!
