The kit comes with two lighting components, one being a beamsaber which can also be used to light up the verniers on the backpack, and the other is a two-LED unit which lights both the head and the chest vents separately in multi colours. It also comes with a gimmick where you can quickly pull a piece of the chest armour to turn on the lights, and they automatically turn off after a short amount of time, so no need to dismantle part of the model to turn the lights on like most MGs and other PGs. The kit comes with 1 BR435 battery for the beamsaber, but requires 2 LR41 batteries for the LED unit which aren't included.

The model looks awesome when completed with just some light panel lining and decals, but the decals provided are stickers and not water slides. There are some new 'metallic' stickers which are much better quality than the old foil stickers you tend to get with Gunpla, and they do add some nice extra detail to the kit that doesn't look out of place or poor quality. It still does come with some foil stickers, but they're either optional or just to black out / reflect the LED unit inside the model, so aren't visible.

Overall, the kit looks amazing, it was fun and easy to build, and it's clear to see they put a lot of thought and love into it.
