"Best Product For Development And Issue Tracking Software"

    Posted 2021-07-29

Pros: 1) Dashboard representation and sharing 2) We can update the status of any issue/ticket through mobile or email. 3) Easy to use, also to customize the process flow and time tracking with priority.

Cons: 1) No option to download all the attachment in any particular issue. 2) Should include more KBA. 3) Should be more secured when we are commenting or tagging any person.

Overall: Jira one software product designed to help teams of all types manage work. Good software for bug and issue tracker. We can share the specific team dashboard and represents issue number with graph representation. Good part is we can update the status of issue through phone, email. Best experience with this tool for issue tracking and also has best workflow system approval for development request or issue resolvent with priority with SLA breach.

"Jira is the best software for project tracking"

    Posted 2021-07-22

Pros: With Jira we have the ability to track the ticket status of each of our projects from anywhere, either from the web or mobile. It has also allowed us to easily create dashboards to manage the status of our company's projects, as well as IT projects.

Cons: It is necessary to improve the integrations with other software, for example, with Service Now, since this integration is quite deficient, if it is achieved that in the next update is configured and fixed this interface will begin to improve and the work will be more bearable.

Overall: We have been able to use Jira in all labor departments of our company, so that everyone is ahead of every project that is carried in that section and can have the right knowledge when it is required in the project. We track tickets quickly and reliably and give assurance to the client that everything will be answered in the shortest possible time.

"With Jira we can keep all our staff active "

    Posted 2021-04-22

Pros: Jira allows us to prioritize the activities we choose, and follow up on them to review their status if necessary. We can also carry out the team's ideas first hand, through video calls in case we are working with any API to integrate with call software, and we can make comments to the deliverables of each colleague.

Cons: Jira in general terms is a good software, but it tends to retain the work of some employees, who upload the progress data of their work and these take time to appear for the rest of the project, which makes it difficult to make daily reports, or group planning using sprint methods. The diagrams are not so extensible.

Overall: With Jira all the scheduling and information recording applications are kept unified, and the software is designed so that everything that is done during the work can be kept secure, it is even being updated and there is a lot of movement by the team. We love being able to create tasks and subtasks so easily, as they make the work spread out better.

"Productive and efficient for the management of your projects "

    Posted 2021-04-21

Pros: It takes care of all the management of a project when planning, monitoring and organizing an activity or a project to be carried out by the members of a team of the organization. At the same time it can be used as a means of communication between members.

Cons: The price is an essential factor in all tools; Jira Software has a high cost; therefore, the impact is too much for small companies. One of the main factors that companies look for when implementing new tools is the cost of it, so JIRA would not be very nice for that aspect.

Overall: We are using this tool in our departments of the organization to better manage all our projects and activities. Through it we can assign tasks and activities to all members of a team, we plan and monitor all our projects easily and effectively obtaining successful and productive results, in turn at the same time we can be communicated through it with the members who need to carry out the completion of a project. It allows you to personally plan your tasks, to keep you organized in a better way without overlooking any activity already planned. Jira Software is one of many tools that responds to your needs giving excellent and productive results.

"Jira is a good way to validate group work"

    Posted 2021-04-01

Pros: In jira task assignments can be done in different ways, and the most convenient is to be able to create mini assignments individually, so that it is easy to know which assignment has been given to each person in the group, or if we wish, we can set up our own teams where multiple assignments are valid.

Cons: Jira does not provide us with enough methods or view modes for the boards, which limits our way of organizing them to distribute the work points. It is not possible to follow up on negative comments, or in any case, dissatisfaction comments, made by those within the group.

Overall: Jira is a software that can become indispensable in certain cases, such as those where tasks with certain levels of priority are needed, or where a project approach is required where the most important thing is the collaboration of all the components in the group. Jira is a good software to cover developments from the beginning.

"Jira allows us to bring out the full potential of our project"

    Posted 2021-03-27

Pros: Jira is an excellent app development service from Atlassian, which when configured to work with Confluence, allows us to adopt new work dynamics, such as those that involve tracking the customization of the dashboards of each team member. In general, the capacity shown by jira in the area of performance tracking is quite high, and we like the fact that it does not require so much material to configure the templates when you want to start a project from scratch. Jira is a good base for the creation of applications without having so much knowledge of front end or back end, because the platform comfortably meets some of the main fundamentals that would be carried out when working with PHP or JavaScript code, or, in any case, serve as a way to create material a little more organized.

Cons: We completely liked everything about Jira, so there is no reason whatsoever to disparage any of the features within the platform. Jira is stable and its design is attractive, so we found it to be an interesting software to work with.

Overall: Since with jira we can add different code development software to our application projects, it is ideal so that, if necessary, each of the team members can work as comfortably as they want and not be limited by the work formats that their colleagues can use.

"Jira correctly conditions our development methods "

    Posted 2021-03-26

Pros: Jira is a dynamic service whose acceptance of diverse work methodologies makes it great for group development sessions without previous software experience, making the team show results almost instantly. Jira allows us to copy information boards and work leaving backups of each stage of the workflow.

Cons: When working with many issues within a project we find it unnecessary to close them and place a status change on them when they are finished if they are parts of the same work branch, but jira needs each issue to have a mandatory closure in order to correctly define the progressiveness of the work.

Overall: Creating an application entirely from scratch, carrying out the whole development process that this entails, and culminating with the scheduling and dispatching of its release is the main goal of jira. For this to be possible, the parameters established by the team leader, which are easily programmable within Jira, must be met.

"Jira has helped us grow as developers"

    Posted 2021-03-26

Pros: Jira is a platform specialized in short and long term developments of mobile or desktop software, with the function of being oriented towards administrative editing, where you can configure the parameters of the team of technical developers. With the free plan we have managed to work with special dashboards, and we have covered ten jobs (the maximum of this plan). Jira is perhaps the program for projects with more possibilities of being applied during the training and development stages of a proposal, which is enough for it to be recommended in large projects, since the process of developing a platform from scratch includes many stages, which are easier to cover using Jira.

Cons: When using the free version of jira there were some tools that we did not manage to work with, such as the function for anonymous accessibility to job reports and audit reports. It would be potentially beneficial to get at least temporary free samples of these features. The amount of internal memory in jira free is very low, 2 GB.

Overall: We have been fascinated to be able to have backlog management tools whose information we can include in our reports, and in turn add these reports to the cloud for review by the leaders of each project. Jira is a good initiative to learn powerful group work mechanisms.

"Jira as an alternative CRM method "

    Posted 2021-03-21

Pros: Jira's tag system has allowed all of us in our organization to manage a clean system based on our own tags. Its integration is totally simple and has a single sign-on which has allowed us to eliminate a need to create many new accounts when setting up new users. Lastly, it has an extremely comprehensive interface which has promoted us among all the users we use touring to perform complex tagging in a fast and functional way.

Cons: Sometimes it is complicated to us the edition by command sequence since in the massive edition it can not take all the characteristics that we need at the moment. As an advanced user there are times where we do not have access to the command line interface. Many of the edits we have are not protected from inconsistencies or errors and causes the software to malfunction.

Overall: With Jira we were able to enter, review and assign all requests in record time. This software also allowed us to centralize a directory to run from a single login. We highly recommend this software as it has helped us with the time constraint we had and has improved the limited admission we had with administrators. Jira is efficient and there are very few critical bugs that this software has. It also has new features new tools and a serious interface which makes this software the best on the market.

"Jira tracks our projects from start to finish"

    Posted 2021-03-20

Pros: Jira is useful for the annotation of everything related to our application under development and to the team of developers, so it is possible to organize work schedules, objectives on whose dates the content should be shared, and to comment on specific parts of the progress.

Cons: Jira cannot be integrated with Project management services based on agendas and dashboards, as in the case of Monday.com, which makes it difficult to export the content of the Gantt charts that are made within Monday.com.

Overall: With jira it is possible to perform analyses within the current application development markets with the objective of informing us about which would be the most profitable moment to launch our project, so that we can create the best and most structured launch plan. We recommend jira because it is undoubtedly the best software to track the entire process of creating online applications, allowing us to create notes about the start and development, and schedule its launch on future dates.

"Jira is excellent for bug tracking"

    Posted 2021-03-19

Pros: In the past, we have used several bug tracking tools, but so far, Jira is the best. Among the main features is the interface, it is very easy to use and it provides a pleasant user experience, it has an agile SCRUM / kanban ready to use support, it is also highly configurable in almost everything, it has many custom scripts available through integration or add-ons and extensions, there are thousands of add-ons in the market.

Cons: Pricing is based on the number of users, although that can be a PRO. With such a flexible setup, the learning curve for administrators is a bit steep. If you get widespread user adoption in a large enterprise, the cost to upgrade to the next level will be higher than when you first paid for that level.

Overall: Jira can be used for large projects that involve dozens of complex tasks, from one stage to the execution stage, a group of people dealing with these tasks. This solution can be simplified by using Jira's combination of Scrum and Kanban. In addition, there is a to-do list to remind you to complete all tasks in large projects. For us, it makes a difference in the following areas: teamwork, adoption of agile methods, shortening time to market for new projects / new features, and overall team spirit. We have also seen widespread adoption in other departments, not related to software development.

"When it comes to application development, Jira is a cost-effective tool"

    Posted 2021-03-18

Pros: Jira's work system is organized by applying tasks and sub-tasks, which works well in group management because it helps to identify which work goals have been met and who has completed them. Recommended for developing applications whose base is already created in software in other development softwares, as Jira has support for many of these platforms.

Cons: Although the entirety of the annotations about the development of our project is managed within jira, there are a few external cloud hosting systems that cannot integrate with jira, making it useless to export our information to these services. The resolution to this is that Jira still has support for many file sharing services, so by being aware of which platforms cannot be added to the management, there will be no inconvenience. Other than this, no other usability issues have been found within the Jira platform.

Overall: By purchasing jira we are given a tool to track all stages of development within each project we work on. Jira provides a dashboard to work on where all the information published about the project (usually the latest updates) is shared to different external services, and can be edited outside the platform to be uploaded again later, which in the end is a sign of total freedom over the management of the content used to work.

"Prioritize and discuss your team's work in a complete context with full visibility"

    Posted 2021-03-18

Pros: Jira allows us to organize ideas remotely, getting a relatively simple picture of a complex system, this platform offers effective task tracking and personalized planning, with a scalable evolution that adapts to the comfort of all team members, obtaining a clear structure and prioritizing tasks. Jira includes a lot of options to manage projects in our own way, so we feel comfortable using it. It combines in a quite effective way the traditional goal-oriented project management and combine it with a more current approach of agile methodologies more dynamic and open to discussions.

Cons: The platform offers a free 7-day limited version of the standard software. Jira's license is considered to be too high and expensive for start-ups. Its interface is somewhat complex for new users who do not have a good command of the software and tends to become a bit tedious.

Overall: We use the platform to have a better tracking of errors, problems we have had within the organization, also for project management activities. It gives all team members a clear view of what the problem is, how to track it and provides the necessary steps to solve the issue.

"Jira: always keeps our employees active in their development work"

    Posted 2021-03-17

Pros: The platform allows us to prioritize certain activities and constantly track their status. In addition, we can manage our ideas through conferences (if we are working with integrations) and it is also possible to make surveys and comments. It also gives us a predictive analysis in the market to know how sales of our products are being handled. The platform is highly recommended for its management of all types of marketing activities for application development projects: Jira helps to keep the launch of each project organized from the beginning, and is perfect for defining and tracking the objectives to be met during each process.

Cons: The platform as a whole is excellent, but in some details it retains the working modalities for some people, since the application does not allow us to make daily reports or plan activities in sprint. In addition, it does not provide us with the much used Gantt chart that usually helps the team to properly manage the time resources behind their activities.

Overall: Organizing, annotating and scheduling is usually a very late task, and if an accident happens with the annotations and other project contents, important ideas and time can be lost. With Jira that can change, as the software is designed exclusively so that work is always kept safe and moving, no idea or suggestion is left aside as we can create tasks and subtasks at all times. In the long run there will be fewer problems, as you can keep perfect track of them and their history in the development process.

    "Multi-Functional Software"

    "Issues Reporting and Tracker"

    Posted 2020-07-28

Pros: Jira Software is a Delivery oriented project manager tool. It is packed with multi layered functionalities to track and manage the teamwork. I especially commend the Kanban boards offered under Jira.

Cons: Jira helps a lot to streamline all the bug reporting and tracking. It is a game changer for us.

Overall: Jira Software is mainly used to report and track the issues on our software part from Kanban boards of Jira. It made our life very easy and error less. We use it to report the technical issues to our production team through creating new tickets. It allow to set priority of the tickets and and stuff all the details and environment which helps our technical team to recreate the scenarios. Before we moved to Jira, we were using group chat to report the issue and tracking them in different sheet was very cumbersome process, which often lead to reporting too less information to process, with Jira the reporting and tracking the progress of tickets become breeze.
