Another Event has hit our games, which means it’s time for another calendar. Treehouse of Horror XXXII, Act 1 hit our games yesterday.
Here is the math needed to get all the items and corresponding calendar (with both Freemium and Premium expectations).
Note: Another reminder to SCROLL DOWN IN THE TASK BOX. There are up to 6 tasks (depending on which characters you have) that need to be completed the event to trigger. If you think you’ve completed all the tasks, but aren’t moving onto the next part, SCROLL DOWN and see if you’ve missed any tasks.

Murky water, tress have changed colors, and leaves are blowing in Springfield, that can only mean one thing…the annual Treehouse of Horror update is upon us! Yes, with this annual event we never know if we’ll get a trick or a treat, if it’ll be Halloween-y or spoof-y…but it arrives in our pocket-sized towns nonetheless year after year. And this year, marks the 10th…yes the TENTH…Treehouse of Horror update in TSTO. So what does EA have in store for us this year? Dinosaurs! In true Treehouse of Horror spoof style. As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Once again we see another multi-event in Springfield. So love them, or hate them, they’re still here. So let’s all try to make the best of this…
Anywho….things kick off with a series of 6s tasks for Burns, Smithers, Dr. Hibbert, Dr. Nick, Frink, and Hank Scorpio (if you have them)…
After you’ve completed the initial task you’ll kick off the 2021 Treehouse of Horror Event!

We teased it earlier this week on our spoiler video, which you can watch here if you missed it, and now it’s time to download the update! The 2021 Treehouse of Horror Event has arrived in our app stores!
Remember, this app store update does not start the event it’s just the download for the event. The event will start TOMORROW October 6th at 11am ET…time zone converter here ET is New York time zone. So please, don’t ask why the event hasn’t started in your game if it’s not October 6th at 11am ET…
Anywho here’s the app store description and what’s in store for us:
As of the posting of this, it’s currently only available on iOS and Google, Amazon it should hit soon so be on the lookout. Remember, you may have to hard close and reopen your app store (and do a search for Tapped Out) to see the update…
So be sure to download the update, and be prepared for Treehouse of Horror to hit our game tomorrow (October 6th) at 11am ET!
10/5 Update: Hey guys, just letting you know the update has hit the files…so it should be hitting app stores fairly soon.
Also, for those worried about the “lack of dinosaurs” with this event…don’t worry…there will be dinos!

Happy October 1st! Can you believe it’s already October? Feels like it was just March, but here we are! Summer is dead and gone (at least for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere) and the cooler temperatures of Autumn have arrived! Riley (my 5-year-old daughter, for those that don’t know) noted that she could see her breath this morning as I dropped her off for school! Man those temperatures sure dropped fast! (now we start the time of year where I wished I lived in Florida…)
Yes, Autumn is here….and while cooler temperatures kind of depress me, Autumn does mean it’s almost time for the Addicts Community’s favorite time of year in TSTO…Halloween and the annual Treehouse of Horror Event! (although, long time players know, I’m still partial to Christmas)
So what will this year’s event entail? Well, no one knows yet…although I have a feeling we’ll know soon (remember my prediction over the summer, based on update patterns, was Halloween will start October 6th). In the meantime, since the 2021 THOH update will officially be the 10th Halloween update to hit TSTO…yes, I said 10, isn’t that insane?!…I thought it would be fun to take a look back at a brief history of the past 9 events, before looking ahead to #10.
So here’s a brief rundown of the Halloween history in TSTO…
