Drupal is the world’s leading open-source digital experience platform (DXP), with more than 20 years of community-driven innovation. Since its founding 20 years ago, Drupal has touched millions of lives. One in 30 sites on the web is powered by Drupal, which means most users of the web have experienced Drupal—even if they don't know it.

What kind of salary can I expect earn in a Drupal career?

Entry level: $50-68,000, Mid-level: $68-100k, Senior-level: $100-$150k
Pay ranges depend on your area of focus and regional market. The wages above are in U.S. equivalent data due to the current North American scope of the program. Wages in other regions may be higher or lower in accordance with market averages due to a variety of factors.

Drupal Career Tracks

Site-builder

A site-builder can create a website using the tools available through the admin interface. They will learn best practices for a Drupal development project and understand how to make a website accessible. They work with the greater Drupal community to learn and share knowledge.

A front-end developer can make a website look exactly the way they want it to. Their work is what the visitor will see when they come to a website. They work with back-end developers to make features function and display the way they need to. They work with the greater Drupal community to learn and share knowledge.

About Representation

This scholarship and training program is currently open to individuals 18 or older that identify as racial minorities. We recognize that marginalization exists for many identities; all of which must be addressed and acknowledged. Racial identity marginalization exists in all other aspects of intersectionality and is one of the largest disparities that exist in Drupal and open-source, so this pilot program is designed to address this as a starting place.
