Pros: As a Recruiter in the Health Care field, I find Grayscale very easy to use , and fairly simple to learn to maneuver within it. There is a help center that is also easy to navigate, in case you need more assistance. I really like that it has the ability to send bulk texts to candidates, and I have used this feature often. It is great for hard to reach candidates, or even a candidate in the pipeline. Very happy we added Grayscale to our technology tools!
Cons: So far I haven't discovered any cons using Grayscale., so so far so good!
Overall: Grayscale has been very helpful in contacting candidates and getting a quick response back. I like that I can see reports of my use.

Pros: Grayscale has been an extremely helpful addition to my recruiting tool box! Love the ease of use, the ability to see all candidate communication directly in my ATS!
Cons: Not a con, but it would be nice if different recruiters could show as different numbers when contacting the same candidates.
Overall: Overall, Grayscale has made work easier and more efficient! It has made candidate contact much more streamlined!

Pros: Grayscale is user friendly and they have amazing customer support when you need it. My entire team loves the ease of this software. Being able to track or document text conversations is crucial for HR purposes.
Cons: My biggest con is that you are not able to delete duplicate candidates that have been entered into the software. If you upload an Excel file with say 3 applicants/employees already entered into Grayscale's Talent Pool, you receive no notification that the 3 people are already entered and then have no way to delete them. Very small/minor con overall.
Overall: It's been wonderful being able to have this software. My team and I use it on a daily basis, and don't know how we worked without it!

Pros: User friendly.
Good customer service.
Clean (UI).Cons: Product downtime at inopportune times (which isn't very often).
Alerts are not intuitive.Overall: Grayscale has really streamlined our communication with candidates. Our target candidate pool operate in large scale plant manufacturing settings, where often times there is little to no cell reception. Grayscale's technology gets through despite this technological challenge. This is especially important in a very fast paced candidate driven market where time makes or breaks everything. The integration within our ATS (Lever) has meshed really well. My one criticism per se is that alerts only take place if you are in a candidate's particular SMS text string, and generally I don't need an alert if I am in candidate's text string. Creating a desktop text alert with an extension might remedy this problem, but I am not a developer. Overall, our recruitment team is very pleased with the product and I would recommend other talent acquisition professionals to sign on if they are on the fence.

Pros: Easy to use, easy to set up, simple templates, very very few bugs. it's also easy to reach out to multiple people at once which is great in high volume recruiting!
Cons: Notifications are difficult to setup, can be difficult to get notifications from other people on your team reaching out to the same candidate.
Overall: I have used multiple texting systems and Greyscale has been the best! Very simple to set up, use, and make changes.

Pros: I really like the app and using it via chrome extension! It is so cool to me how it can match the area code to the person I am contacting. The reminder texts are super helpful to me and my prospects.
Cons: It often logs you out and you do not realize it. Regardless of the Chrome extension or the actual webpage. I also wish there was a way to send and receive pictures.
Overall: Overall I see this product as an asset to my job and I am really glad that my company invested in this for our recruiting.

Pros: - Easy-to-create templates that are now shareable!!
- Ability to schedule texts (I love this for setting the perfect timing for interview reminders)Cons: - Not connected with phone call system
- Can't see enough detail in the jobs list when created automations (ex. we have the same job in multiple cities and these are differentiable on GH but not in grayscale)
- I would like to ability to schedule interview reminders at certain times/number of hours before an interview (rather than "the day before")Overall: Fewer no-shows due to easy interview reminders! People like texts more than emails in our field (ops, drivers, warehouse) so this is a great tool!

Pros: Automation integration with ATS - something many texting companies don't have!
Active quick live support.
Beginner friendly.
Imports .CVS files for easy quick, bulk contact information.Cons: Could include more variables to include in snippets for a more personalized candidate experience.
Automation will only work well if no additional third-party softwares are used with your ATS.Overall: My previous company used TextRecruit which largely lacked in automation. When I started to use Grayscale, I was able to take lead in recruitment automation for high volume recruitment roles which has been an immense time saver in my day-to-day operations. I no longer have to set up calendar reminders of individual candidates I need to follow up with, Grayscale allows me to "set it and forget it" while still creating a personalized candidate experience and ensuring candidates receive timely communication from me. I can't ever imagine going back to my old ways of recruiting and keeping candidates warm!

Pros: Easy to use, clean look, message templates, and message scheduling so it can be sent at the right time.
Cons: Sessions are timed so you have to log-in often and don't always see a reply. A voice message feature might also be helpful.
Overall: Grayscale has greatly improved our communication. The ability to schedule texts is a gamechanger and eliminates forgetting to reply and sending a text too early/late in the day. I'm able to start the day with replies and be that much more efficient.
