Top Q&A
- How should I introduce member dues if I’ve never required them before? (42:44)
- Five dollars might be a good place to start, but even before that, you could ask your members what they think is fair and reasonable.
- Can we still host online events after the pandemic? (49:53)
- Yes! Online events are here to stay and we’ll continue to support you hosting them.
- Can you merge two groups into one group? (52:42)
- Not right now, since there are trust and safety concerns around making people join a group without them knowing. However, you could send a message to the members of one group encouraging them to join the other and merge the groups that way.
- If I close the group, will other members be notified to step up as an organizer? (53:27)
- If you close a group, it won’t be shared with other members. Members are only notified to step up if you step down from the group. When you close a group, others may be able to use your group’s name, but your group’s URL remains taken so you could start the group back up in the future and use the same name.
