Installation

Minimum Requirements

PHP version 5.6.0 or greater (PHP 7.1 or greater is recommended)
MySQL version 5.0 or greater (MySQL 5.6 or greater is recommended)

Automatic installation

The automatic installation is the easiest way to install any plugin in WordPress. You can perform an automatic installation of Qubely by logging in to your WordPress dashboard, navigating to the “Plugins” menu and click on the “Add New” button.

This will open up a page showing all the available plugins in WordPress. In the search field, type Qubely. The search result will show you our Qubely plugin, you can then see the detailed info by clicking on “More Details” and to install just click on the “Install Now” button.

Manual installation

To install Qubely manually, you need to download the plugin and upload it to your webserver via any FTP application.

Is Qubely free?: Yes, Qubely is a free WordPress Gutenberg block plugin. We have a premium version that gives you more options to customize the blocks and hundreds of sections and starter packs.
Can I use Qubely with any WordPress theme?: Yes, you can use Qubely with any Gutenberg compatible WordPress theme.
Do I need Gutenberg to use Qubely?: Yes, Qubely is built based on the Gutenberg editor. Qubely does not work with the classic editor or any other page builder plugin.

I'm using the free version and I just can't believe how many features this plugin offered for the free version. It's really generous this plugin offers some advance tweaks whereas other plugin need the pro version. Actually just this plugin is sufficient Gutenberg addon's for my website, but some addition like postX and GenerateBlocks is really nice!

So I'm not a fan of Themeum as a company; their support is not great, which is why I bumped a star off of this rating (I had a LOT of trouble with Tutor LMS), but I really really love Qubely. It makes my life so much easier. There are so many blocks that just make my pages and posts look exactly how I want them too without me having to work for it like I used to. I love the table of contents block; it automatically creates it from the headers on the page, and it's so customizable, even down to whether I want it to begin opened or closed to when the page loads. Their layouts are superb, even against the latest WordPress update's new template library. The typography options are super customizable but still easy and intuitive to use. And I just found out today that there's a tooltip option in it too?! I've been using a separate plugin for tooltips, but I'm probably going to remove that and just use Qubely for those too. So much easier. Qubely also has a much larger icon gallery than the standard Gutenberg one. Themeum may not do a great job with LMS software, but they really know how to make things look nice, which is one of the biggest reasons I signed up for Tutor LMS in the first place, but the LMS software part had too many consistent issues. I've had zero issues with Qubely and am genuinely excited to use it on my site, and that's the mark of a good plugin. It makes me excited to create more things because it's such an intuitive tool that makes everything look nice. Basically, Qubely turns Gutenberg into what I wanted it to actually be. Thanks, Themeum for this plugin. Just work on making sure your support team is well-trained and responsive. 🙂

While I really like Qubely in theory, when working with the paid Pro version, you stumble across many bugs and inconsistencies. Bugs that are so obvious that you wonder why this was released. That alone wouldn't be much of a problem, if their support was responsive. It takes them 4-7 days to react to an email. If the email thread goes back and forth, add another 4-7 days to each reply. Sometimes, they don't respond at all, and you have to send them reminders, and they still don't respond. All fair game for the free version, but for a paid subscription, this is just unacceptable.

Upgrading to WP 5.7 broke reusable QUbely blocks entirely, with prevents pages from being updated entirely. Support has beeen contacted, but in 3 weeks we have not received any help and the support went unresponsive (we are premium users)
