I was going nuts trying to order a custom BuddyPress directory by editing the functions.php theme file and installing various BuddyPress member plugins, none of which would enable multiple sort options. This one is so simple, and it works like a charm! I had already put my BuddyPress members directory into a table anyway — by default it’s a list — so this is perfect. Love that by clicking Shift you can apply a secondary sort while maintaining the first one.
