Cons: This platform can oftentimes be overwhelming with the amount of data point options. I would recommend taking a training or having a well-versed college walk you through it.

Overall: Overall, an excellent product for SEOs. It can be pricey, but I would say for what you get from it is worth every dollar.

Pros: SEMrush features countless products for every area of SEM (and others that are unrelated, like social media scheduling). This software is perfect for intermediate to advanced SEOs.

Cons: It can be overwhelming (not for beginners), so I recommend knowing exactly what data point you're looking for in the software before you click around because it can be overwhelming if you don't have a specific direction.

Overall: Overall, an excellent product for intermediate to advanced SEOs. It's pricey, but it's worth every dollar with all the products contained in the product. Plus, they're always launching new features.

Pros: Domain audits.
Keyword Magic Tool is awesome and very useful.
Keyword phrases are great for headers and alt text.

Cons: I feel like some of the features overlap and could be integrated together. I think its just a bit of a learning curve on my part though.

Overall: Great software. I always use when planning new pages on my website, generating keywords for advertising campaigns, or crafting alt text and blog titles.

Pros: SEMrush is a very good platform for amateurs to learn the basics of SEM. It has some great courses as well.

Cons: We are really fond of SEMrush and have not had any issues.

Pros: Easy to use to set up and run an analysis for your URL for your business and breaks down your traffic.

Cons: You need a subscription as there's not much for free.

Overall: Overall it's a good tool and works really well. Well established and trusted so that's another major bonus.

Pros: SEMrush is one of the best tools I have ever come across. It is best for GAP analysis and backlink audit. SEMrush is also helpful when it comes to finding new link building prospects. Overall, I love this tool. I use it on a daily basis and I recommend it to everyone who is directly or indirectly associated with SEO.

Cons: For the bulk backlink analysis tool, it would be very helpful if SEMrush also provides a toxic score for each website. Based on the toxic score we can judge whether to keep or disavow the backlinks.

Overall: I have been using SEMrush for more than 2 years. SEMrush is the best tool for backlink analysis and GAP analysis. I recommend SEMrush to every marketer.

Using SEMrush has made the tasks of marketing team much easier and quicker.

Pros: SEMrush is my favorite competitive intelligence and SEO tool. I use it to keep track of our SEO efforts with position tracking along with competitive backlink analysis. This tool has paid for itself and regularly makes you look like a real professional marketer. The reports are sharp and its not too hard to learn if you're willing to put in the time.

Cons: The number of things that you can do with this tool can make learning it difficult. There are also some features that are not as fleshed out as they could be, but still very happy with its core uses. I also wish they integrated with Matomo because we do not use google analytics and cannot take advantage of that integration.

Overall: I started with the free trial a few years ago and would use it in one off competitive searches for a while. Since upgrading to the Guru plan, I would definitely recommend going with the paid version to get the historical data and the keyword tracking as it helped us make more informed decisions and identify and capitalize on areas of growth that we would have never known about.
