Is Durga Puja a Public Holiday?

Durga Puja is an optional holiday. Employment and holiday laws in Pakistan allow employees to choose a limited number of holidays from a list of optional holidays. Some employees may choose to take the day off on this day, however, most offices and businesses remain open.

Note: A limited number of optional holidays are granted to workers from specific groups, religious denominations, or sects. The holiday should not result in any substantial work disruption.
