cpuminer is a multi-threaded, highly optimized CPU miner for Litecoin, Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies. Currently supported algorithms are SHA-256d and scrypt(N, 1, 1).
It supports the getblocktemplate mining protocol as well as the Stratum mining protocol, and can be used for both solo and pooled mining.

all i get are work restarts, so for me this is not working very well.

Two errors 1. Cannot execute "C:\Users\xxx\AppData\local\temp\Rar%EXa8044.18636\minerd.exe" 2. minerd.exe will be compressed only after closing the application using it. Modifications will be lost if you close WinRAR before that. If you're going to offer a program, make sure it works.

Anyone think this is virus, It is NOT! Most cryptominers are seen as viruses because the antivirus thinks they are not paying you but just the developer. Plus it mines great! Most CPU miners cannot mine to Stratum URLs but CPUminer can!
