About Docmosis
Docmosis is a highly scalable document generation engine that can be used to generate PDF and Word documents from custom software applications.
Documents are generated from templates which can be created using Microsoft Word or LibreOffice. These templates utilize simple placeholder fields to handle text, repeating and conditional logic with flexible formatting features to control how data and images are injected into the documents.
Data can be passed to Docmosis in either JSON or XML format. Generated documents can be output in multiple formats including PDF, DOC, DOCX and ODT.
Docmosis means that developers and/or non-developers can design templates.

Docmosis allowed us to add rich PDFs to our app without all the future-proof nightmares of before. By allowing non-technical team members to maintain and update the templates, we can keep our developers focusing on what we do best.
It's been over 5 years since we started using Docmosis, and it has been seamless every since. Plus their team is a pleasure to deal with if you have any questions. -

"Perfect - Highly recommended"
Posted 2019-07-10Pros: We are a very busy law center. Every month our company has to generate 1000's of documents for our customers. For the last 10 years this process involved a human resource - copy 'n pasting from the CRM onto a word document then converting to PDF and emailing back to the customer (as you can imagine this comes with many issues- consistency, accuracy and keeping staff motivated to actually do the tedious task.
Then I discovered Docmosis. We can now save 100's of man hours for $50 pm and radically improve the customer experience.
E.g. Before, to produce a specific document for a customer had a 1-2 business day timeline.
Now! It's 3 seconds after you click a customized button in Zoho CRM- We've even got our PHP code pushing back the PDF url into Zoho which automatically emails the customer.
What's also great is that marketing can control the branding by maintaining one set of documents in the docmosis cloud. Before it took months to get the operations team onto a new letterhead.
I'm the office hero right now! :)Cons: Haven't found any yet. While typing this I actually went back to their site to find a con. But really, can't find anything.
It's perfect.Overall: Fantastic - I simply copied their PHP sample code and within 30 min our system was automatically generating documents. We further load tested their system by generating 3,000-4,000 documents with zero issues.
