About RebelMouse
RebelMouse is the always-modern SaaS CMS that helps marketers and publishers grow organic traffic by breaking from the conventional approach of legacy web technology.
Writers, editors and designers need their content to rank across channels and social platforms. Businesses need traffic and content creators need a simple experience. Products like SquareSpace offer ease of use, and WordPress offers flexibility, but RebelMouse offers both, with better performance, and more traffic.
Experienced WordPress and Drupal developers are able to create high-performing sites on RebelMouse with far less effort to build and to manage. RebelMouse is the only enterprise-ready SaaS platform powerful enough for a media company, but also easy enough to use out of the box for any marketing team that just wants to start generating more traffic.
We are also a majority-female diverse and inclusive organization. Watch the YouTube Video for more info on how we stand out from the typical tech company!

Pros: The creator's experience works well in her favor as RebelMouse does a great job of delivering what it promises. It's easy to setup - just sign in with your emails or socials, and start creating content. It supports multiple platforms like Twitter, Facebook etc. Creating posts and content is hassle-free. The mobile-app is quite convenient and nicely designed.
Cons: It is slightly expensive for what it offers. The constant emails can also be annoying.
Overall: RebelMouse is a hit-or-miss depending on your organizational needs. It is a creative agency that provides many strategies for managing your content across platforms. Their marketing tactics are very helpful, despite the high price.

"A tech heavy but user friendly CMS"
Posted 2020-06-25Pros: 1. The layout & design tool gives the publisher flexibility in designing different content layouts and web pages.
2. Tired of finding and fixing 404 errors? RebelMouse has an easy to use 404 page which lists all the pages with errors and it can be fixed with a few clicks as well.
3. Pagespeed score of 90+ is not normal but with RebelMouse it is just the starting.
4. I can go and on but the assembler-particle feature in RebelMouse is unique and quite SEO friendly as well.Cons: 1. Editorial publishing flow is decent but the UI can be further improved.
2. The layout & design tool can be a bit complicated for some so documents can be further added to make it easy to use for new users. We were able to understand and use it properly after the RM team had given us a demo.Overall: My experience so far is amazing. The team is quite helpful and we couldn't have had a better experience. We have used 3 other CMS before and so far RM team is the best we have worked with in this industry.

"Less Work - More Traffic!"
Posted 2020-06-25Pros: No more maintenance/updates.
Content creation is so easy.
Organic traffic went way up!
Works out of the box, but also easy to integrate and flexible for devs.
Their team really cares, and goes above and beyond.
My pages are always fast and optimized for Google and Facebook.Cons: It relies on fresh content to drive traffic, so if you don't plan on writing new content regularly, you won't get the SEO benefits.
The RebelMouse price includes premium hosting and CDN, so you can't comparison shop hosting to save money separate from the CMS.Overall: Although I would never say it publicly, we were in a very tough spot, and RebelMouse basically saved our business. In my experience when you switch to a new CMS, the people writing content take a long time to figure it out, and there's an initial dip in traffic. This time, our writers (even the ones that aren't great with technology) understood it immediately, and actually started writing articles faster! We never saw a dip, and traffic to our site just kept increasing. The tools they have to help writers tweak the articles to get more traffic from social and search took our youngest and most tech-savvy writer a only few days to get used to, and within a month even our most hesitant writer was using the discovery tool to optimize keywords in her articles. They say they turn your writers into SEO experts and it is really true.

In addition to the traffic increase that is growing our revenue, there is also the technical side, which is where we really save time and money. Our technical roadmap for our business used to get blocked by unexpected issues with WordPress (like security updates that break plugins) and that redirected the focus of our internal team, and sometimes forced us to hire an agency just to get the site working again. Now, our editorial team is happy because they are able to have a working site, while the technical team focuses on our other business goals.
The other thing worth mentioning is web technology. Unless you're a huge media company with millions of dollars to spend on a dev team like the New York Times, you probably don't even know about all the things you should be doing to stay relevant and compatible. When everyone else is freaking out about Google's new algorithm change, or a requirement for AMP compatibility, or how they measure performance, RebelMouse has already pushed out an update that keeps you competitive.
