We made two trips to the warehouse before deciding on the stone we needed.  We were treated with patience and attention as we changed our mind several times.  We learned of the various options for the stone, sink and faucets and stone backsplash for the cooktop and tile for adjacent under-cabinet walls.  The stones were cut and installed within three days of signing a contract with deposit.  A team of four skilled workers, including a plumber for the sink installation, performed their work with utmost care and professionalism and the results are absolutely stunning.

We are extremely pleased with our counters and quality of the job by Euro Stone team.....We selected granite from another stone yard. Euro Stone measured for counters, installed new cabinets for island and new beverage station, then installed counters and cabinet lighting and tile backsplash....we couldn't be more pleased!!!! Will send our friends and neighbors to Euro Stone!

We got Erva Stone & Design to replace our bathroom vanity tops and we couldn?t be happier. We received 3 quotes from other vendors and Erva Stone & Design came out to be the lowest. Home Depot was the most expensive, and it didn?t include removal of the old counter tops or the plumbing. Erva Stone & Design did everything, including moving the bathroom mirrors higher to accommodate the extra inch of granite for the back splashes. The work was completed fast. We went with Erva Stone & Design on a Saturday, and they were out the next day (yes Sunday) to do measurements and the entire work was completed two days later. All in all we couldn?t be happier.  Thank you so much Erva Stone & Design!

Luxury Stone Craft made gorgeous tabletops from remnant marble that we chose at their showroom. They were responsive, easy to do business with, and interested in our small project. We initially worked by phone and text, with a staffer named Bay texting photos of remnant slabs. It was worth our time to see the stone in person to choose the exact portions of slab and finalize the price. Beautiful tabletops were ready on time. These folks clearly care about their customers and love working with stone. I plan to hire them again.

We chose a beautiful Norwegian stone and they cut the countertops we needed for two bathrooms from the areas we indicated. They cut and installed it on time, leaving both rooms clean and neat. Great people to work with and they have a good selection of fine stone at reasonable prices.

Terrific online and phone service from the full team at MarbleX. One excellent feature that set them apart from other stone places was that they had an up-to-date photo inventory online that meant we knew the stone we wanted was in stock when we went out to look at it.

The job went very well.  The measurements were accurate, so no adjustments needed to be made.  The quality of the stone, the cutting and finishing of the stone, the installation,  was all excellent.  A+    The sink was a little tricky, but everything turned out great.   

We purchased the stone in late summer 2009, but were not ready to install.  ABKA held the stone for us (it seemed like forever); when we were finally ready in 2010, they came, measured,and installed.  No fuss, no muss.  If it had been any easier, it would have been truly unbelievable.

Almost immediately after installation, I notice water stains across the counter top.  I contacted Marblex to request for a representative to come out to the residence to assess damaged stone top.  The person sent told me that all stones will do this, although I have never had this problem with granite. I was not told that this stone would be prone to this. In fact, my salesperson, Krista, had advised this stone over marble specifically because this stone would not have problems such as this, which are known to occur with marble. The Marblex rep was very rude. He made an attempt to remove the stains, without success, and told me that they are not responsible for any further issues with the stone after installation. 

Darwin and his team were nothing short of superb. He helped me locate the perfect stone slabs for an extra-large 10' X 6" island, large sink countertop, desk, backsplashes, and bay window sills, then laid out the pattern for the pieces needed with incredible precision, such that the beautiful swirls and flecks in the stone seem to flow seamlessly from one piece to another. His cuts were incredibly precise--each piece fit exactly as intended. He personally oversaw the day-long installation and afterward cleaned up every speck of dust, leaving the space immaculate. I loved the way he incorporated my thoughts in every stage of the process. A perfectionist and professional. I could not be more pleased with the overall result--the island and countertops will be the showpiece of my new kitchen.

This is the third time I have used United Stones and each time I have had satisfactory results.

Frank came out to provide a quote for my job. I needed to replace my old Formica counter tops with granite and replace the old 70's tile back splash with stone. I liked that Tile Center would be responsible for all the work (Counters, back splash, and plumbing) and I didn't have to act as the general contractor and coordinate 3 different companies myself. I stopped in at the Gaithersburg location to pick out the materials and was very happy with the selection available. Frank took his time and showed many samples to help in deciding the materials. I chose a rather unique combination of granite counter tops and stone back splash. The materials came in within a reasonable period of time and they came out to do the installs. They worked quickly and had the job done in a couple of days. The job turned out great and can be seen on the Tile Center website "Gallery".

Excellent experience overall. We have been acting as our own General Contractor while managing the remodel of our TH kitchen area. Azaa and his stone artisans at Custom Home Improvement LLC did a great job in guiding us through the remodel and design process especially the layout of our new RTA cabinets and custom stone countertops. Very professional staff with significant expertise in stone materials availability, selection and fabrication. and quot;Team Azaaand quot; completed the project on budget and on time. The project has now moved into the backsplash installation portion. Still a work in progress.

They were fabulous to work with! I’ve also worked with them commercially, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. They have beautiful countertop slabs, and when they fabricated the stone slabs into the countertops, they really had an artistic and great craftsman to complete the measurements. The technicians are true stone craftsmen. They really took advantage of the most beautiful part of the natural features of the stone. Their dimensions were incredibly accurate and the work was exceptionally well-done. They also worked around another contractor's schedule during a home renovation. Their price was very reasonable!

We found Granite Expo to be very responsive and eager to please us. For example, we wanted a specific stone that they did not stock and they were willing to obtain the stone from a distributor and fabricate it for us. Their price was very competitive, as we had shopped around. They were very professional, prompt, and responsive to our needs. We were very pleased with their installers who seemed skilled in working with the stone. They were committed to ensuring that we were satisfied customers, even if it meant multiple return trips to our house.

I were very thorough and very effective installing the counter. If there was anything involving anything with electric or plumbing you have to have someone else to the work.

The process was a pleasure from beginning to end. The folks at the Stone Studio were very easy to work with. I visited the store and spoke to a sales representative about the countertop. The price for the granite I was looking for was considerably lower than other local stores including Granite Express. The pricing at other stores was based on using remnants while Stone Studio's price was based on using a full slab. About 1week before the vanity was ready for the countertop, I called Stone Studio to finalize my order. Stone Studio told me to let them know when our vanity was ready for a countertop and they would send someone right out to measure. In fact, they did send someone the same day that I called to tell them that it was ready. The fabrication process was completed within a couple of days of placing the order and the subsequent installation process went very smoothly. The installers arrived on time. When I inspected the countertop just before installation I noticed that the bevel on the edges was smaller than I expected. The installers offered to increase the size of the bevel on the spot. I decided against this but it was very nice to have that option made available. The final product definitely met my expectations. I would recommend Stone Studio to anyone.

We were about 50 percent pleased. As soon as they got their check they were not interested in us at all. The countertops were not level. They were not the easiest to work with at all.
