What do you like best?

What do you like best?

I am a Divi user, and along with Divi's extreme versatility, comes some very specific requirements. I first tried WPX hosting, then Kinsta, A2, and Flywheel, but it wasn't until I switched to Pressable that I found a home for my site that checked all of the boxes for success - the most important box checked was their commitment to helping me resolve any issues I encountered. While every host I tried previously passed the buck to Divi or plug-in developers when it came to resolving my issues, Pressable went the extra mile of troubleshooting issues (some arguably beyond what a web host is responsible for) to make sure my issues got resolved so that I stayed and was happy - and I can attest to both. What do you dislike?

There are some bells and whistles in terms of site statistics, monitoring and site back-ups that I miss from other hosting I have tried, Pressable mostly makes up for it by including Jet Pack with every account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The two issues I had most with other hosting related to speed issues when embedding video, and adding direct downloadable content (i.e. pdf's and mp3's) to my site. What do you like best?

Technical Support is provided by real people that truly care about your site and your business. I have utilized Pressable for a year and it is a joy to work with their technicians who I have been on a first-name basis for nearly the entire year. I retired from the United States Navy in 2017 after being a cryptologist, information systems manager, electronic key manager, and web designer for 20 years. Pressable gives me the confidence that my site is in good hands not just by the features they offer, but because of the quality of people that they employ. Of all the equipment and infrastructure I have utilized Pressable has provided me a level of security and ZERO stress that I greatly appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing about Pressable I dislike. If there is one thing I wish was different I wish the Site Management page provided an auto-login feature to the WP-Admin area for each site managed. I am not worried about this however because I have voiced this idea to Pressable employees who are very engaged in customer feedback. Recommendations to others considering the product:

Using Pressable leads to a life with lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels. I have also noticed an 82.3% decline in the accumulation of grey hair over the course of 90 days of monitoring while utilizing Pressable. If that all sounds good then one needs to only ask why they are hosting their sites on GoDaddy or Bluehost with these life-threatening ailments induced by stress and disappointment. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There are many solutions available to a web designer: Dedicated Servers, Virtual Private Servers, Shared Hosting, and basic WordPress hosting. The problem with these other solutions with smaller teams with limited resources is that it is not an efficient use of resources and time. With Dedicated and Virtual Private Servers you need to either manage all aspects of updating, backing up, patching, and maintaining all aspects of cybersecurity regarding your Dedicated/VPS which provides a fixed amount of resources. With shared hosting and basic WordPress hosting you are dealing with inconsistent quality of service and generally across the industry customer service that does not treat you like a valued customer or that your site is as a priority. The level of trust and confidence is nothing like what I have consistently experienced with Pressable every day. I have experienced outages with Bluehost where you submit a trouble ticket and flats for days to unknown people and then 48 hours later I was still offline. I have had similar experiences with GoDaddy. When you have your site hosted with Pressable you click on the intercom chat bubble at the bottom right of the screen you are talking to a real person that cares within minutes and they are immediately working on your trouble call. I have a Virtual Private Server that I call my "car in the garage" I like to tinker on and emulate my Navy IT life, but when it comes to mission-critical web assets I do not trust anyone else but Pressable. What do you like best?

The migration tool was amazing. It transferred my very complex site over in about 20 minutes and it all worked perfectly. I've used many solutions to do this in the past and it's always turned into a nightmare - but this was the easiest thing I've ever done. My system consists of a website, a learndash based learning management system, a woo-commerce based shop, and a support system based on the wpForo forum software. This is all tied together and heavily customised with over 30 plugins - all of which worked perfectly the first time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I disliked is that the way the platform is set up means my backup software doesn't work. Support helped me find one that did though so all good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I couldn't recommend it more to be honest. Everything about the service is fully featured and really easy to use. Even things like setting up your domain name are fully automated and really simple. Then we come to the service. I'm a web pro so most stuff made perfect sense, but I had a couple of advanced questions which the support staff answered within 20 minutes and supplied me with some great articles that explained what I needed. What do you like best?

Pressable takes all the complications out of hosting a WordPress site—they take care of all the server-side settings and make sure the server is optimized for my website. Plus, their admin area is super easy to use and it's a breeze to set up development areas, manage my databases, content and website. Their CDN and included JetPack license is another big plus. Trusted hosting from Automattic: essentially, you know that any site you build on Pressable will run great, and their customer service is second to none in the tech space. For example, with other hosting companies, their tech support is beyond awful, and sites are vulnerable to hacking - this is from personal experience. Another reason, is that if you go with more trusted hosting companies like Siteground - the fees are ridiculous. I just switched one site from Siteground to Pressable and it is way more affordable. What do you like best?

Managing my website was becoming a time suck. I needed an easy to use website host and Pressable streamlined the process and has been readily available to answer questions. I am not tech savvy, nor do I want to spend time wrestling with my website. I transferred my website from a different host in part of one day and have enjoyed getting back to my regular work. Pressable hosting simplified my website so that fewer plugins were needed--like SSL and it hasn't gone offline since. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was able to remove many plugins because Pressable Hosting provided solutions as part of their package. I removed the SSL plugin for example. My website stays online now without mysterious "offline" issues. The website runs smoothly and I don't need to check it all the time to make sure it stays up and running. What do you like best?

The customer service has been by far the best part of Pressable. I had to transfer 10 websites and each transfer was made possible with the help of someone at Pressable. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

I like that I can sign in to one platform that allows me to see and manage multiple sites from one place. It's especially handy when doing mass upgrades to work through my list of sites methodically from Pressable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wish Pressable stored my Wordpress login for each site so clicking the WP icon would take me directly to the WP dashboard. I also dislike the pricing tiers. As a startup, I'm scared to move from 3 sites to 10 because of the price difference and there's no guarantee that I'll get more sites. What do you like best?

I'm not too fond of the limited availability of data centers around the world. We're based in Italy, so we chose Amsterdam, and that's fine, but another one in Europe would be appreciated. Also, Asian customers do not have any choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When we revised our website, we found that our website was constantly slowing down, or giving error codes. After LOTS of searching for the problem, we realized our old webhost could not handle all the material our upgraded website. We haven't had that problem since switching to Pressable! What do you like best?

The customer service is excellent; it's mainly by chat, but the representatives are quick to hop on, and they know what they're doing, so issues are resolved quickly. In fact, on two occasions the representative addressed side issues that I hadn't asked about directly. What do you like best?

Simple yet powerful management interface. You have all the tools you need to manage a WordPress install without being limited in any significant way. Direct file access to your themes and plugins and DB access through a web portal. Yet you don't have to manage scaling or security updates as these are mostly handled for you.

What do you dislike?

These are really edge cases here as overall we have a very positive experience. The things we find lacking I understand would be hard to implement and/or manage.

1. better user management with profiles

2. support of custom apache rules using .htaccess files.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The biggest issue for us was scalability, performance and security updates. We have 10 WP sites and having to deal with all of those issues was a real drag on productivity. What do you like best?

Support! You can reach them anytime of day or night and I have yet to ever have a bad experience. I also had an issue with billing with reduction in invoices due to COVID-19 and they took a personal approach to assist me. You can not ask for better service - and the price point rocks too! So far, I have zero complaints. I wish I could say I had some, I usually can nitpick one. I guess if I had to have one, it would be I'd like a more robust dashboard, but it is by no mean a fault or hinderance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The ability to scale our plan is ideal as we have had issues with other Managed WordPress hosting platforms that were fixed in size and to upgrade to their larger plans required their IT to do a full migration of all of our sites. On Pressable since it's running on Google Cloud you just upgrade your plan and walah! you have more sites and storage. We also love their built in CDN which has boosted our site's speed. If you need help migrating sites, Pressable does that for free! Using a platform built by the same team that builds WordPress and Woocommerce is a great fit. We manage approximately 15 Woocommerce sites currently and the ability to be able to spin up a staging site quickly to to test the latest Woocomerce is priceless.

What do you dislike?

Not a lot to dislike. I think the only suggestion I would have is to maybe add tags to your hosted sites in the control panel so you can filter by specific client or group of sites. Other than that I have nothing I don't like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Scalability was our #1 problem. I don't want to be locked into a platform with specific storage limits or # of sites.

Benefits have included the CDN to speed up our page load speeds, free JetPack security and backups and even potential for WP Multisite hosting. What do you like best?

I've used more than a few hosting services for WordPress, in a lot of pricing tiers, and Pressable has been the best. It just works, and they offer so many included things that what may appear to be an initial high cost is actually one of the best values out there. What do you dislike?

I use CloudFlare for DNS management, and it can take a little effort to navigate between the settings of the two when trying to get some of the security settings to play nice, as well as a few plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

First of all, I'd like to mention the support of Pressable. They are very helpful, answer very fast and try their best to help you. Many hosting providers boast that they have such support but only on Pressable I felt like there aren't any problems the support can't help me with.

Second - my site is on Divi/WordPress. And it works fast on Pressable. I like that.

What do you dislike?

One of the items I personally dislike is how Jetpack is not yet integrated with Pressable - in needing to activate Jetpack either manually or having to contact Pressable support EVERY single time we either create a clone of our site, or after we convert a staging site into a live site. One of the biggest benefits I've personally realized with Pressable is that since I can control if and when we will have a staging site, that means if there's a minor edit I need to make on the website, I only need to do it once, and not needing to migrate staging in to live with each minor edit I may do to our site - that I can just clone a fresh copy of the site once I make the needed edits. This saves me an entire step of having to either migrate staging to live, or having to make the same edits to the staging site to ensure the live and staging sites stay identical. What do you like best?

I have been using Pressable for about a year now and am happy with it. Their support team sometimes takes a while to reply but they do their best to address my queries and solve the issues I report. Earlier, my website was hosted at Siteground but I wasn't happy with the load time of my pages. Having done a lot of research, I finally chose the $25 plan from Pressable. It has been a while since I switched to the $90 plan since my traffic grew significantly.

I don't remember when I encountered any problem from my host's side last time. I would highly recommend Pressable to those who are confused about picking a good host for their WordPress site. If you want a stable and fast website, just go for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

My favorite aspects of Pressable are the fact that I don't have to worry about setting Wordpress up on my new domains (that Pressable does that for me), and the 10/10 customer service. Any time I have a question about a complicated technical detail, Pressable chat either tells me a solution, or does the solution for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The support is top notch. They have been able to walk me step by step any problem. And when I get stuck they jump in and just do it for me. Plus the main reason we use pressable is Speed. The sites load faster vs other hosts we have used it the pass. While they are not the cheapest host around. The speed makes up for the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When you are looking at hosting don't fall into the trap of more features are better. A good host has 1 job. To load your page fast. We could always get cheaper hosting but what you save in hosting is lost when you look at how many people leave your slow loading site. Plus Google ranks sites based on page load time. The speed of our website has a direct impact on leads and sales. In the past we used budget hosts and the site would take forever and a day to load. After upgrade to better hosting things got some better. We diteched Cpanel and went to pure WordPress hosting and how our site loads under 1 sec. Pressable was able to help us find the problem and fix our slow site and with the crazy fast hosting they have I am a client for life. Plus the support ROCKS!
