    Since it has been acquired by Yoast, the plugin has been filled with Yoast advertising that is annoying and unnecessary. I stopped using other Yoast plugins for the same reason.

    Also, since the last update, it throws some messages in the backend notifying “error during content cloning”, but it has actually cloned perfectly. Most of my clients have called me with questions about this error and concerned that it was a critical error.

    These are the two main reasons why I have switched to another plugin.

    Hi @aidatun,
    we’re sorry to here that and we can understand your disappointment when these problems occur.
    Can you please give us some more information about the error you are experiencing, like in which setup?
    We don’t have any error message like the one you reported, and the code for the regular copies (as opposed to the new Rewrite & Republish feature) hasn’t change in any of the latest versions so it could be an incompatibility due to another plugin.
    Can you help us shed some light on that?

    The main purpose of this plugin to simply duplicate a post. Why so many unnecessary updates? Selling you a Cannon to kill Chickens. Don’t use any of his plugins.
