CUNY IN THE NEWS
STUDENT CENTER
Elliot David, Macaulay – Hunter ’19, was inspired by his professors and mentors to make the world a better place. CUNY allowed Elliot to access many opportunities, including the prestigious Schwarzman Scholars program. Recognizing the great privilege of this access, Elliot is organizing the upcoming Greenlight Climate Festival to give that same chance to students passionate about environmental justice.
Elliot’s advice: “Do a lot of informational interviews. They are really helpful, especially during COVID-19, because they help you gain insights into the industries, companies and roles that interest you, and you learn about the problems they are trying to solve.”
