Share Count number different if you are signed in or out of website

    We have noticed something very strange going on with the social share plugin. The number of listed social shares appears to be different depending on if we are signed into the website or not. If I check the facebook share debugger the right number of shares appears, but if I sign out of our website for example, it’s showing the incorrect number.

    This appears to be happening on a number of our posts, but not all of them. Below is a screenshot of the share count on one post if I’m signed in vs signed out.

    My guess is it’s due to caching. When you are logged in you are seeing an uncached version of the page, which shows the most up-to-date data. When logged out, you are receiving the cached version of the page from your caching plugin. If you clear the cache on the server it should be the same in both places.
