Cannot get anything but 0 to display

    I’ve tried both SharedCount.com w/ API key and Native, and even with posts that SharedCount.com says have shares I am still only displaying 0 on all of the site’s posts.

    Is there any known issues with Facebook or the plugin+Facebook at this time?

    Can you share a post URL that is receiving 0 counts? What happens when you drop the URL into the text box on SharedCount.com and click “Analyze URLs”?

    The Facebook API can be difficult and now requires an API token in most instances. If you’re consistently getting 0 counts from native Facebook I would suggest moving to the SharedCount.com API which works much better.

    If you’re getting zero counts from both services but it’s showing there are counts when you visit SharedCount.com directly, it could be a hosting issue (blocking the API request).

    Thank you for the reply, Bill. Apologies for my belated response.

    ShareCount.com analysis of the URLs produced a numerical count, while the pages continued to show “0.” Unfortunately, since this was for a paying client, we have [at least temporarily] switched to a different plugin.

    I will set something up in a test environment when I am able and test some more.
