Support » Plugin: SAML Single Sign On – SSO Login » Error in link for login

I am using the free version to test the plugin, this is because I could not enable the trial despite having created a trial account and logged in with it.

The problem I’m facing is that after setting everything I inserted the widget but the link points only to # and not to the login URL of my IdP. I am testing in an anonymous window to ensure that there is no open section of my user in IdP.

In the Service Provider Setup tab, where I uploaded the metadata I downloaded from my IdP, it looks fine, the url`s and data were filled in correctly, so I do not know how to proceed, could they help?

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Did you follow the steps for adding a widget, given in Redirection and SSO Links tab of the plugin?

Also, did you see any error message while running Test Configuration from Service Provider Setup tab?

Yes, I followed and I believe that if I had done something wrong in including the widget the link would not appear on the site.

No error appeared in the test, only opened a popup loading the home of the site.

But thank you very much, as what I needed was to simply log in to my IdP and map the completed roles using the OneLogin’s PHP-SAML library to resolve.

I’ll close the ticket, thank you very much.

Upon clicking on Test Configuration button, you should see the list of attributes received from the IDP if the test was successful.
Since you end up at the home page of your site, I think you have missed the trailing slash ‘/’ while adding the ACS URL/Single Sign On URL at your IDP.

For example, your ACS URL should be
    https://example.site.com/
    instead of
    https://example.site.com

This should also solve the issue where you were not able to login using the widget.
