This plugin disables the display of images but not the generation of them.

I would like to disable generation on upload because I upload a lot of images and space goes out quick with this feature.

Is there any way to disable it?

This does not prevent WordPress’ native image generation on media upload. This plugin only removes the srcset & sizes attributes off of the <img> element.

Closing this as the functionality is out of scope for this plugin.
