If you want to help in managing and validating translations, please make sure to get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

Weekly Meetings

I’m trying to translate my own pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party to Spanish, but I’m getting the message that I’m not allowed to do that.

Am I missing some step?

Two things:
1. Your pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party is not properly prepared for our translation system.
In https://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/neat-admin-menu/tags/1.1/neat-admin-menu.php you need to declare your text-domain as neat-admin-menu and also use this value in your code.

2. You can request that the Spanish translator team grants you editor rights for your plugin. I’ve edited your post above to include such a request. #es_ES

All translations approved. Please pingPing The act of sending a very small amount of data to an end point. Ping is used in computer science to illicit a response from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping is also a term used by Slack users to @ someone or send them a direct message (DM). Users might say something along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.” us when you have more to be translated
