I'm starting today to review your theme.

Review in Process

I will be reviewing your theme and post my feedback as soon as possible, please allow two days or three for the initial review to be completed.

  • The review will be based on the Theme Review Handbook ​https://make.wordpress.org/themes/handbook/ .
  • Following feedback you'll be required to fix all items marked as Required (if any) and give consideration to recommended items.
  • Once you have made the necessary changes you'll need to submit a revised version via Theme uploder ​https://wordpress.org/themes/upload/
    • For a succesfull upload you will need to change the Version tag in your style.css
    • Once uploaded the new version will be attached to this ticket.
    • I will then continue with the review.
  • The above process will be repeated untill there remains no issues that are marked as Required.
  • Theme will be approved and moved to a new queue where an Admin will double check the review.
  • If the Admin checks return satisfactory the theme will be set to live and be available in the repository.
  • Should the Admin(s) deem the review to be incomplete the ticket will be reopened with notes and what needs fixing.

Hi @nicola.bavaro - that's awesome. Let me know if there's anything that needs changing. Remember, this is a child theme - problems with the parent theme need to be reported into the parent theme's ticket.

  • Search Form, when searching something that exist:
    • Fatal Error: Max execution time of 30 seconds exceeded.
  • Archive page:
    • Fatal Error: Max execution time of 30 seconds exceeded.
  • Double child theme style.css found on <head>

Required: CORE FUNCTIONALITY AND FEATURES

  • comments_template() not included, no display form is showed on single post view when no comments are present.
  • Remove git files (.gitignore)
  • Ordered list, Unordered list and definition list seem to need some style.

Notes

  • If you import main.css via style.css the client have to download style.css first, then it request main.css.

sorry for the delay. I Checked the last version, thanks for the fixes.

Final Result: Approve

Note: The link on button "View PRO Version" confuses. I think is more usefull for the user to find directly the PRO version of the theme (​http://themeisle.com/themes/rokophoto/), not a more generic page like a homepage.

Required

  • readme.txt indicates that this Theme is Copyright Themeisle 2015. This copyright attribution should be for this Theme/developer, and not for the parent Theme/developer.
  • Use core custom logo feature, not Theme custom logo.
  • Do not output a default logo.
  • Remove 'menu' parameter from calls to wp_nav_menu(); use only 'theme_location' parameter.
  • Remove Theme-specific copyright notices from the site footer. Default values for Theme options, if used, cannot be Theme-specific. You could use something like "Copyright {Year}. All rights reserved." as the default, but not "Copyright {Theme Name}. All rights reserved."
  • Ensure footer credit link, if used, is equivalent to either ThemeURI or AuthorURI

Recommended

  • Use custom nav menu for social network/profile links
