Performance and Security

Smart caching with server task allows to deliver content blazingly fast without long page loading. It’s especially crucial when many networks are pulled or you have big traffic. It’s great to use this plugin for streaming your news, photos, reviews and any other content you can imagine!

Plugin doesn’t expose your private details (like tokens, app IDs and app secrets) to browser so we provide 100% security for any sensitive data.

How it works

You create streams in Flow-Flow WordPress Social Stream admin and copy generated shortcodes. Then you put these shortcodes in any block on any page of your site. When social stream is shown first time, it’s got cached (takes more time for initial caching but then it will show blazingly fast) and rest of visitors see this cache for cache lifetime. So for example if you have set 20 min cache and 10000 users visit your site within these 20 min, it’s only one time plugin will request API to pull data, for the rest of time users will see cached data almost instantly. Considering that server runs cache renew task in background it guarantees plugin’s amazing performance.

Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working

Automatic installation

To do an automatic install of Flow-Flow, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type “Flow-Flow” and click Search Plugins. Once you have found it you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”.

Manual installation

Uploading via WordPress Dashboard

  1. Download flow-flow-social-streams.zip
  2. Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  3. Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
  4. Select flow-flow-social-streams.zip from your computer
  5. Click ‘Install Now’
  6. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Using FTP

  1. Download flow-flow-social-streams.zip
  2. Extract the flow-flow-social-streams directory to your computer
  3. Upload the flow-flow-social-streams directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Updating

You can use automatic update to update the plugin safely.

Can I use Flow-Flow extensions with Lite version?

Yes, you can! If you have a purchased license of any extension, you can extend your Flow-Flow Lite with advanced features without purchasing Flow-Flow PRO. Learn more

Do you provide support?

Flow-Flow Lite edition is distributed “as is” and doesn’t contain support services. However it can be our good will to help you. Please, be advised that fast and premium support is provided with Pro version only.

I reported the problem with the new versions of Facebook pages a long time ago, six months ago. I got one reply that someone would take care of it. Since then, not only has nobody taken care of it, but also none of the updates takes into account the changes that Facebook has made. Facebook has long been offering a new way of working for pages. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the current version (over 6 months) of Flow Flow in WordPress with new versions of these pages. Adding v Feed does not stay from download, an error is shown. Support pretends it's okay. I have already seen information for users "that they are left to themselves and support is of no interest", I saw these replies to others. Additionally, various script functions are not working as they should, such as display randomization. I advise against purchasing the script. I've had enough. I will never buy anything from this developer again.

I found a bug and was fixed in less than 24 hours. The quality of the plugin is great and worth the money spent. I used the free version for years and I'm glad I upgraded to the paid version.

Plugin Stopped Workin – Support Won’t Reply

The plugin was great while it worked. It suddenly stopped working and now displays a red error message on every page of our website stating "Flow-Flow admin info: Please choose stream layout on options page.". If you Google the above in quotes, you will get results from many other website where is has stopped working as well. I contacted support 6 days ago and have not received a reply. I would not recommend this product.
