Installation

You can install CoSchedule via the WordPress.org plugin directory or manually by uploading the files to your server.

WordPress Gallery

  1. Go to your WordPress Plugins menu, and click Add New.
  2. Search for “CoSchedule”, and once it is found click Install Now. Once the plugin is installed, click Activate Plugin.
  3. Sign in with your CoSchedule account information. (If you don’t have an account yet, sign up here.)

Manual

  1. Backup your WordPress database.
  2. Download the plugin zip file ‘coschedule-by-todaymade.zip’ to your computer.
  3. Upload and install through the ‘plugins’ panel in your WordPress dashboard. You can manually upload ‘coschedule-by-todaymade.zip’ to the ‘wp-content/plugins/’ directory if you prefer.
  4. Activate the plugin through the ‘plugins’ menu in your WordPress dashboard.
  5. Sign in with your CoSchedule account in Settings > CoSchedule

How does the CoSchedule plug-in work?

CoSchedule synchronizes your WordPress posts, author, and category information to its servers, but all of your WordPress data remains in WordPress. CoSchedule will update that WordPress data as you direct, but the data always remains in WordPress. Social messages, tasks, comments, team members, and other data you create in CoSchedule will be stored on CoSchedule’s servers, and never in WordPress.

How do I get CoSchedule?

After you sign up for an account at CoSchedule, you can connect your WordPress blog to your CoSchedule account.

How much does CoSchedule cost?

I use CoSchedule for 2 blogs, and another on/off project. I wouldn't be without it, as it means I can schedule my social media, my blogs and any little ideas I have, all in one place. Plus the WordPress app just makes it even easier to prepare my blog posts and set up associated social media, all from within my wordpress dashboard. Saves time and effort. Always a good thing!

I love using CoSchedule. My biggest challenge right now is that as an iPad user, (not sure if this is the case for desktop users), the plugin drops the coschedule app right into the middle of my post where I’m working. It covers the text and I have to maneuver around it to work (or leave wordpress). Also, when I try and use the app, if I have text below it, tapping the app activates selecting what’s underneath it rather than using the app itself. So It’s (somewhat) easier to open a browser and forget the app all together. I do hope the app could be utilized in a sidebar or at the bottom of the post window.
