Reminder that the current Tide focus is integrating PHPPHP PHP (recursive acronym for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a widely-used open source general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web development and can be embedded into HTML. http://php.net/manual/en/intro-whatis.php. Compatibility data from Tide into WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/. Once PHP Compatibility is integrated into WordPress.org, we’ll assess the next focus to provide the biggest impact to the community.

Node refactoring

@antpb finishing a deployment/release for PHP Compat Checker plugin, will then get into refactoring to utilize Tide APIs
@derekherman working on docs and deployment scripts while testing and standing up the production GCP project, found two small bugs in the sync server to trace and patch

Node refactoring

@derekherman has feature code that moves storage to a bucket locally, needs to review and submit PR, then dump the Staging DB and start fresh scans
no update on progress of PHP Compatibility Checker plugin integration

Node refactoring

@derekherman working on storing reports in storage bucket, requires a bit more work and will push up PR when ready hopefully around end of week
@antpb works on PHP Compatibility Checker plugin integration with Tide on Wednesday’s, so better update in next Tidechat
@jeffpaul noted that WordPress 5.8 is due out on July 20th and having Tide and the PHP Compat pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party released around then will overlap well when many other plugins update and site owners are most likely to update
