Support » Fixing WordPress » Posts Table Heads

  • Hi everyone,

I am currently rebuilding an old wordpress site for one of our clients.
They have a table with projects listed on their projects website.

The table is a table made of posts. I was able to import all posts to the new site and was also able to display them as a table with a plugin called “Posts Table with Search & Sort.” However, the table that was created has table heads that are very different from the current table. Do you guys know of another plugin that I can use that will create a table from all posts? Or what I can do to change the table heads to what they should be?

I apologize, I do not work with posts and table a lot, so please be kind 🙂

    Thanks in advance!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @jackyp42. What specifically about the table on the new site is not right? Could you style the table using CSS so that it looks more like the old one?

    Hi Robert,

It is not about the CSS, but more so about the Table Head Titles. I want them to say: Job No, Owner, Contact Phone, Location, Description, Start Date, Completion Date and Contract (like they have it on the original website). After importing all the posts from the old wordpress to the new one I was able to get them to show in a table, but the table head titles now show as: Title, Content, Date, Author and Categories.

    Any Ideas?

Right, got it! Thanks for explaining.

I recommend that you ask this question in the Posts Table with Search & Sort plugin’s support forums. That way you can receive an answer straight from the plugin developer.
