    Webpage test still detects up to now this vulnerability, is there a way for fixing it? i have WP 5.5.1

    You can ignore it.

    While upstream ceased support for this jQuery version,
    WordPress has its own patched version, its safe.

    is it going to be automatically integrated in upcoming wordpress release or should i go ahead and do this upgrade? seems a bit of work and testing.

    new jQuery will be included with new WP,
    this means you will have to test your old plugins and themes
    and upgrade to new release carefully.

    WordPress will continue to security support older branches (currently lowest supported branch is 3.7) with all included components,
    this means old version of jQuery too. It is safe, despite reported as outdated.
