What is the best way to adjust responsiveness in the Media & Text block?

Currently the block’s limited responsiveness (Stack on mobile toggle), is not enough for blocks that include significant amount of text. The problem is that on mobile devices the block becomes responsive at too small of a screen size.

Is there a recommended approach to fine-tune this functionality? Ideally this would be forward compatible.
