Does Give require WordPress to work?

Yes, you will need to have an active install of WordPress in order to use Give and its Add-ons. If you are running your site on WordPress.com – the hosted version of the platform – you will need to be on the business plan.

What is included in priority support?

We provide responsive, helpful, email-based support for our customers with active licenses. Our Priority Support team are Give experts who know WordPress well. We are available to you Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time throughout the year (except some holidays). VIP support customers receive 1-2 response times and all other priority support customers receive 2-4 hour support times.

Do I have to pay extra for support?

GiveWP support is free for all users. You may open a support ticket at any time. However, premium add-on support requires a valid license key. License keys are issued at the time of purchase.

What are the license keys used for?

License keys connect your site to ours, allowing us to send you automatic updates if your license key is in good standing. Likewise, we provide priority support for valid license key holders.

Will GiveWP work with WordPress.com?

Yes. However, you must have a Business plan with WordPress.com, which supports third-party plugins. If you do not have a Business plan, GiveWP and its add-ons cannot be used.

What if I don't want to subscribe

Your subscription can be canceled at anytime after purchase. Once cancelled, your license key will not renew automatically and will expire on the expiration date. Once expired, you will no longer receive automatic updates or have access to support. You may manually renew your license at any time to reactivate your subscription.

Do I need to renew my license?

Your license is valid for one year from the purchase date. You need an active license key for continued access to automatic updates and support. If you don’t cancel your subscription it will automatically renew after 1 year.

What happens if I do not renew my license?

License keys are subscription-based and will automatically renew every year. If you decide to cancel, you may still use the add-on but you will not receive updates or support once the license key expires.
